My goodness! What a fantastic documentary Michael! Dale was so enigmatic with his storytelling. Loved every bit. I came for the FX6. Its a camera i would love to own one day. But the story blew me away. Thank you for sharing this inspiration.
The very best part about this was that this had nothing to do with the fx6 and everything to do with the story. This could have been shot on a Red, Arri, Blackmagic even but the kit didn't take you away from the story, well done and well done Dale, who shared a really great story with us.
Hey Michael, that is the best piece of work I've seen come off the Sony FX6, and I say this as an owner. Of course, it's a great story and you've told it beautifully, with the themes of inclusiveness and old and new, hi-fi and lo-fi culture. Some technical questions: what lenses did you shoot on? How did you go about the colour grade and with what LUT? The exposure is perfect in every scene, especially balancing bright skies against skintones. Again, excellent work. Michael
so good mate. What combo of lenses did you use? edit: you have a great channel. You gained a new sub. So amazing cinematic stories

Love this film, man! I keep coming back to it to refresh myself on the capabilities of the FX6 and kit lens. By any chance, did you use any other lenses for the interview portion? For example, what lens was used for the wide establishing shot where Dale is seated? If it was still the kit lens, did you film the same interview multiple times (it doesn't seem that way!) Or, did you have another FX6 as a b-cam (or another camera?) Thanks again! Subbed the first moment I saw this video awhile back.
