Those were some crazy games, an i literally meant crazy. Stuff happening where you go like "wait... what?" Really enjoy watching those. Thanks for the entertainment.
I feel like that Simic Bounce deck's weakness is the beanstalk. Especially if they've only got one. You murder their draw engine if you get lost their beanstalk. They'd wither so fast without that.
I find that the turn 2 enchantment removal tends to slow down my own game plan so much the opportunity cost is so high. Bouncing it absolutely sucks and most others enchantment removal uses up my entire turn. It's really just a super strong card 😢
That seems infinitely worse than all the other ways you can get Kona tapped and still bring productivity to the game. Vehicles, Mounts, mana ramp, etc are all better.
41:30 totally agree with you. But seems like we’re the only people to think standard Bo1 has great variety. At least based on what I read on Discord. But hey, we might be wrong. Right? 😂
Almost everyone I know that plays at a higher level agrees that Standard is really good right now. And even in best of one I'm seeing a variety of decks. Sure, there are red decks, but there are piles of everything else too. There are also answers for everything.

The deck is more resilient than that. But stopping an early beanstalk does definitely limit some card options.

6:18, don't worry, old timer. I appreciate all your references. Even ones from 1994.
Good thing, cause they are gonna keep comin'.
Counter? I hardly know her
I've been thinking about GW with smuggler's suprise and elesh norn ravenous baloth and vaultborn tyrant interesting to swap reanimation in for kona.
Have you tried scene of the crime with kona. It's a land that taps your guys AKA kona.
