Great performing rig in a killer spot. My thought process is similar to figuring out obstacles. Sometimes if I can't get it going up, I try it going down. If I can make a controlled and slow decent, I then try the same line going up. Most of the time it works.
Great rig and some amazing driving! I mean, the lines you come up with, just killer! Really love those TGH wheels and will be checking those out 👍 And that dig, is this something Tyson did as a one off? I would love to see the setup. One thing I've taken away from your videos is the true versatility of the dig function. Goodbye, Sydney!
That’s also one thing I miss having is dig on my Gshot. It’s all good though I have an MOA and the Vs4-10 Phoenix with the VFD Twin Trans. One of the best rigs I have honestly.
Dang Logan, that shimmy at the end of the trail starting around 20 minutes was absolutely insane-I love watching the truck work its way up and down the face without every unsettling, that was impressive. Tyson's done a great job tuning and you've done a great job driving, filming, and commentating-as always! 🤘🏼
And I don’t think those are the BoatSlide Sliders if I’m not mistaken. They’re the Carbon Fiber GShot Performance Sliders. That’s what I have on mine I got with the Hardcore RC Performance Pack.
Your right.. that dog is on point! I wish my Capra dig would work like that.. as u said it won’t exactly normally work when u want it to.. I missed with epa’s and everything but I need to fine tune it a little more.. I’m still on the factory trans.. and I have very mild o.d. on the front.. and I have dropped it to a 11 tooth.. I’m thinking of doing a 10 or 9.. my rig is just shy of 8lbs but it’s all down low.. and has a great front end bias.. love your videos keep up the great work!

Anybody can say anything negative about this they're crazy so awesome that you do to what you do and tell people why you're doing it that's going to help educate and motivate and push people in the right direction the way of thinking anyway
Great rig with a lot of quality upgrades. I wonder how he will like the Capra trans long-term. I found with wild overdrive the crawlability suffered dramatically as you are going opposite of making it be slow and controlled. I see a 2low or 3gear going in soon. 🙂 Also thumbs up for your merch. Shirts look great!
Great video as usual! - I would like to see how Tyson mounted his dig servo....is it a full size as opposed to a micro? You should do a comparison run with your Pirate RC Capra axles vs G-Shot! Same lines/Driver - I'm guessing it would be close :)
What setup is on the desert lizards? I just got some this week. And I did 25wt oil, 2 piston caps, and long lightweight shocks in rear and long medium in the front.
What a lot of guys do, including myself is the long softest spring under the piston and the short soft spring on top of the piston. It'll make it about 75% droop.
Appreciate the input dude! Right after I commented I went and changed all 4 to 4 piston...lightweight long.....nothing on top and 35wt oil....I just got done taking it out and it definitely fells ALOT better.....I will try your suggestion the next time I'm playing with them
@@EvilLittleBoyProd what you have should work well. I prefer a little bit thinner oil that allows the shock to react faster. I run 20 and 25wt. I run the short spring above because I do like a little bit of up travel.

Can you tell me if he had to modify the carbon chassis to fit the Fusion Pro HobbyWing because the Gshot im currently building that was what I was planning on running in it but when I tried to mock it up to the TGH 2low Transmission the right part of the chassis that slopes down to connect to the skid plate keeps mine from sitting flush against the motor mount. Did he have to remove some material from that part so it could fit perfect? The only one of my systems that fit is a MambaX Castle 2280kv Crawler Combo. Well the can I mean because it’s so short. It fits nearly perfect but it wasn’t the system I wanted in this rig. If I got to I got to but I’d rather have the fusion in it for now until I get better with it. Then I’ll switch it over to a Castle System.
I bought the fusion for my capra build I just got together and the can is too long to fit. Do you trim out the chassis plate to make it fit? I just went with a axe from another truck.

It's made by G speed, it's part of the G shot kit they recently started selling. Not sure if they are sold separately or only sold with the kit.

The boat sides and the kit comes with links for the Capra axles
He needs to get the fmm or tgh 2.low. that would really help bring the cog down. I love my gshot!
