I noticed you haven't used interfacing for the snaps and pocket edges. I'm making a similar product with 12oz twill. Do you think interfacing is necessary for the longevity of the garment?
That's a really great idea to reinforce that part of the fabric that has the button. What I normally do is...cut small pieces of same fabric (1" x 1" square or 1" diameter round) and attach to the parts where the buttons go. I apply this "no-sew adhesive" to the reinforcement cloth. I then press the small cloth to the fabric, then wait for it to dry. Then the button come next. In this vlog, I skipped the process. The fabric I used here is thick enough to hold the snaps.
