Peas are great at fixing nitrogen in the soil, you can see the little white nodules on the roots, I always follow up with up with brassicas which are Nitrogen hungry, it's basically making your own fertilizer.

I’ve always used a legume innoculant, works amazing- I just used it for my crimson clover and had bangin germination
I put mine in a bowl and sift the beans in the innoculant with a small bit of water and plant after an hour

We are growing lupine (inoculated) and had good germination as well.

@@OppenheimerRanchProject Lupine are quite beautiful, I had some difficulty germinating Baptista and wound up
Purchasing plants but I bet an innoculant would work with those also (fabaceae)... 🤔
      Happy growing!

Man, your “new” greenhouse is looking amazing. 🤘🏼 I’m getting ready to plant some contour swales/hugelkultur mounds, I’ve got fruit trees already planted and I put some wisteria plants by each one to be the nitrogen fixer. Love the content, keep on keeping on

I'm guarding again this summer in the city. I was surprised everything I tried last year worked to some degree.

We have former green bean growing land that is no longer producing. But water well nitrogen is sometimes high. Natural spring fed.

Can you use this inoculant for peas that you are starting in trays to transplant out?
It’s February 10th in Zone 6a. Too early to sow in place but great to multisow in trays! If I use the inoculant in the trays, perhaps with the exact soil from where they will grow, will it still work as it should? It’s really to build nodules on the roots, yes?
