Ok gotta stop @ the 5:29 mark. I see where your coming from, but to DJ Production events like me that's a BIG winner! I just bought 32 Chauvet DJ Intimidator Hybrid 140SR If i only waited I would have gotten these. I'm always covered no matter what but I live in South Florida, if your afraid of water here?.... Then you won't get where i'm coming from. And it's not about keeping up with the Jones's. Chauvet isn't the greatest lights but they never let me down on an event. I use verious controllers and I use various lights. So far i've never had an issue with Chauvet or Martin. Everything else!!! YES!!! I'm not here to flex, it's just i've used everything they had from the up lights to LED walls and i'm Happy. Once again I'm in South Florida so they are next door to me, so the convenience is great! Like the are 0.6 miles from me.
I have had my WMX1 for about a year now. I absolutely love it. That Chauvet ILS brain was taken from the Gigbar Move ILS. They got a lot of customers requesting the ILS control independent of the gigbar. I never liked the gig bar, always looked like a toy to me. As far as ILS is concerned, it's a novel concept but it definitely has is limitations. It seems it's geared to those Chauvet loyalist as it does not play well with other brands as you mentioned. Now I have Chauvet products as well and guess what, I control them with my WMX1. As far as lighting costs in general, I'm sure you've noticed how many Dj's are going the cheaper China direct route since everything is made there anyway and they are much more economical but the trade off is customer service. Some are better than others. I, like you, think the lighting options from Shehds Lighting are exceptional. Anyway, always love your posts. Keep up the good work fam.
You don’t understand the reason they priced that much. These lights aren’t meant for DJs while they can be used for DJs they’re designed for touring and professional applications.
I have Soundswitch and I really tried to like it but it just doesn't wow me. I takes too much effort to produce anything that looks interesting to me. I know Soundswitch loyalist don't want to hear it but I think it's overrated. Especially for what I do. It's cool for Dj gigs but I do AV for bands and churches as well and this Wolf Mix Controller is like a swiss army knife, Very Versatile!!! Just sayin....
The IP-rated lights are great for things like permanent installations because you don’t have to clean them due to the sealed internals
Outstanding review and thoughts!!!!!!
I still use Chauvet lighting but when it comes to the Old school fixtures, American dj is the way to go.

Interesting! Lol
I use Martin 575 , guess what they cost? what is the wattage of the light you featured?
Man… some of these vendors have 2 of the Intimidator 360X’s WITH a dual flight case for less than $2300. 😮😊
The price is insane

Chinese lights have no returns also even if damaged in transit
Preach Bro!
Customer service is better if you get them from Dj Rick Web. .

I hate it! Why have knobs, buttons and sliders? Its like just choose one
Lmao! 😂🤣
It's basically a fantasy remote for ils fixtures
Pretty much
Soundswitch is the end all be all. I don’t see the hype with the wolf mix.
Oh it is the ish! Trust me.
