this is my favorite bts song and favorite mv. it's also the very first song i listened to back in 2015 which got me into them. this song holds so much meaning to me because i relate a lot with the storyline. this just goes to show that bts is always thinking about us. so glad you guys reacted to this song !! run is such a masterpiece, truly underrated.

Run is part of YHHY which as an album reflects on the relationship a young person may have with the process of growing and (potentially) maturing. I tend to think of it as a reflection on the hectic pace at which BTS are required to live their lives, constantly meeting schedules with nearly every minute of the day planned with objectives they need to meet, and yet with their own needs to maintain creativity and song-writing/production. Whether I am correct ... I don't know. It's a song I've never examined closely, and I am going mostly on my visceral response to the music.
i feel like a LOT of the new generation of armys struggle to understand that 😭 the music & the lyrics have nothing to do with the fictional storyline. bts writes their songs based off their own life & then later, once the song is confirmed to be on an album (possibly years after being written) then a team of filmmakers suggest themes for the music video. a visceral response to the music is 10,000% better than the kids who think the lyrics solely are about the BU
there is a whole storyline of this album THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IN LIFE known as HYYH story... u guys need to watch all the videos of this HYYH story otherwise u won't understand the concept
