Coco has brought excitement back to the game of tennis again. She’s got the whole package but best of all, she’s so grounded and has been well raised. Her parents have done a wonderful job.

@@Andyontherocks Yes I can't wait for that popcorn match. I root for Halep but now she has to play Gauff and I love her. She should have a chance, she knows how to slice and can do many shots down. And not to mention her consistency

@@black_nebula i think Coco will drive Halep nuts! Halep is a great front runner but the way Coco came back against Hercog was really something and if something similar happens in the there match Halep will lose it mentally. I'm still in awe of a Cori that is only 15 years-old, but has the level of mental clarity that is way way beyond her age.
Her tennis is super fine for her age; but the clarity of mind, composure, court-awareness and confidence are off the charts.

I am so glad this girl did not say she was thinking, "What would Venus or Serena do?" That was the most ridiculous question. Coco has good self-esteem and self-confidence. Why would she be thinking about V & S during her game? Even when she was playing Venus, Venus became the competition on the other side of the court. Coco put the "hero" stuff aside. Way to go, Coco!
