This is Squad, not Arma 3. They play similarly but Arma 3 is more a simulator/sandbox where Squad's core gameplay is based around more traditional FPS gamemodes.

Is the mod worth installing? Does it slow down other servers without same mods like some of the other mods?

It is 100% worth it doesn’t have any issues where it slows down other severs as far as i know
