Not sure if you still monitor older videos or not, but I found you to be very knowledgeable, and swayed my decision to get this gimbal. I have a issues where are times the video and audio seem to get out of sync as the video progresses. To the point where audio is a good second behind. I’m not sure if it’s from using ultra wide lines vs normal back camera or 30 fps vs 60fps. I know my iPhone 13 pro max native camera app has never had issues so has to be Hohem Pro app or settings with in it. Any thoughts on a possible cause of this or resolution. Thanks so much
I bought this device, it is good (First time I buy a gimbal), I was not sure if it works on the Samsung S21 Ultra (big and heavy device), but it works fine !!! But the Hohem Pro app for Android is very bad (I have only Android devices, can't say for iPhone): 1) I can record normal videos but Moment videos don't get saved, it does what it does, then it pauses to processes the video and just sit there, if I press back it will say it will cancel the processing, but it does nothing, waited for more than 10 minutes on a 1 minute timelapse and never got any video. The next time I opened the moment screen I got a notification saying 'saving video failed' (even next day). Tried multiple times, always the same result. 2) In case the moment works, they need to add feature to do not just horizontal sweep, but let the user select 2 positions and do a smooth sweep between them. 3) the app offers only limited video resolutions, 1080p 30fps, this is limiting with new devices that support 8k. Any tips on how to fix the Android app? or are there alternative apps that can do timelapses?

A few questions: 1) Does the app allow selection between 30fps and 24/25fps (on Android)? 2) Does it allow you to record your footage directly to an external SD card or does it store it on the device's internal memory only? 3) If using the device's native app to film to avoid stutters etc, can you still use the Hohem's features e.g. face tracking, panoramic timelapse etc?
According to what I've heard, a new Hohem M6 will be released in 2023 that is significantly more powerful and priced similarly to the DJI OM6, but it appears to be limited to the Chinese market. I'm thinking about getting one to test it out.
Great Video, can you use the gimbal and remote without the Hohem app. For example if you wanted to pan and tilt on iPhone standard camera app using just the remote control?
That flipping the phone action is driving me nuts. The most irritating "flaw" in most of these new gimbals, including Smooth Q3 too. That thing needs to go away.
Does the App support the nativ camera resolution? 8k24fps in my case. i've heard lot of apps can onyl support a bunch of resolutions. 4k60fps or even less
Looks much better than the last one. The remote control and the focus slider especially is a great addition. Can we just select the focus option in the hohem app and change focus with remote in native/filmic pro app? Because, like you said, I'm worried about the jitters in the hohem app.

Hi, I bought first the DJI OM5 and it came broken, so I sent back to Amazon and I ordered this Hohem isteady x2, so tiny! I wanted a really tiney gimbal to put in my slingbag and it's awesome to use with my iPhone 11 Pro and Moment lenses, but there's only one thing that I don't like, the sound of any button press, do you know how turn it off? Because seems there is no option in the app and also no mention in the manual. Thanks, awesome videos any time!

I see the small jitters you talked about in this video so what program are you edit your content on? I did get the PolarPro iPhone 12 Pro Max Directors Kit from last video and I do like it. All of the Moment lens do index correctly even the 1.33 Anamorphic on the PlolarPro case. The only problem I had was with the shutter button units would not start 20% of the time. I removed the pairing and reinstalled and it still dose it.
I found that if you press the shutter button a 2nd (or 3rd) time it reconnects. I think I mentioned it in the video. Have you tried that? I use Premiere
@@SiHorrocks sorry I didn't give a good example. It's fully connected but when you push the button it will not start the recording so you have to watch the screen to make sure it starts recording so your not watching the content is quite annoying. I do like the PolarPro case because it fits really good with the Osmo 4 gimbal magnetic clip.
With Hohem iSteady you are limited at angle because the smartphone touch with the gimbal arm if you point the gimbal front of you. I buyed the Hohem and didn´t work for me.
@@mo0gi I returned it to the store. After a week or so it developed a buzzing sound and vibration from the panning motor. I think it could be because the smartphone touching the arm every time I pointed it forward

I intend to purchase a Samsung S22 Ultra (Note) in the near future. I believe it will have a great camera, although I am totally taken with the photo abilities of the Vivo X70 Pro Plus. Will this gimbal be able to accommodate it (the Samsung)?
Fow pan left and right zoom in and tracking and the remote control do its best how i wish where to buy i homem for action camera and its also have story mode just like dji mimo
When i use vertical mode, the camera viewing screen can see the back (top head) of the gimbal.. i try to adjust & move my Iphone 14 pro on the holder a little bit higher but then the gimbal can't hold or balance it... so it makes a beeping sound then turn off.. i think it turns off automatically if it cannot balance your phone well (it should be centered on the holder) but then my problem on vertical mode occurs again.. in landscape mode its fine, the (top head of the gimbal) is not showing on the camera viewing screen..
I noticed you had some issues when using an attached lens. I shoot almost exclusively with attached lenses. Would you say the issues you were having were problematic for people with my use case?

Can I use the gimbals controls to switch between different frame rates and resolutions on my Galaxy S21 Ultra or do I have to actually physically touch the screen on my phone to change manual settings?

if you didn't get your answer yet, look for the Hohem iSteady V2 model which will do face tracking from any app like Teams, Zoom or FaceTime. It uses a separate face sensor, while this model needs to use the app for following your face. Otherwise, the V2 features are the same as this X2 model
Firmware update failed and now it no longer works, and can't find any support on the website or on Google. After calling and emailing the company several times, I received a replacement, but did get another alter of available firmware update, I should not have, but I did try to update it, and I have another dead useless iSteady X, what a waste of time and money.
I newly brought Hohem instead X2 for my Samsung Galaxy A02 mobile. I registered Hohem Pro Application with my email id also. When I am trying to open camera application found it's been turned off the application. I tried several times. But it's been turned off while opening camera through application. I don't know why. 😑😑 Can you help me please what's the reason. Anyone facing this issue??.
Hi, I bought a recent isteady x, I've enabled it in the app, and I've already done some tests and use, and now when starting it it imitates two beeps in a row while the axes are out of control, and the device turns off, could you help me with what may be this problem?
@@SiHorrocks I understand, regarding the weight I'm using the same 173g cell phone, and as for the balance, it's practically impossible, when starting gimbal the axes get out of control and even when accessing the calibration option it doesn't respond and turns off
@@SiHorrocks So far I have not found anyone that the device had such an error, when starting it emits 2 beeps, the axes turn abruptly in an uncontrolled way and then it turns off

An indication comes up on the cell phone screen to save video, that works fine. Some videos save autop-matically some don't, go figure.

yes. I hadn't used the app for a while so some things seemed new there. But obviously the app works the same for the X and X2

At some point you were moving the gimbal around and it appeared you were trying to get it to have the phone flop around. What was the purpose of that?
He always does such drama with every gimbal - deliberately try to do something odd which the product never claimed or even meant for!

With a big phone (iPhone 12 Pro Max) with a LightChaser Pro case it still worked but didn't have quite enough room for full movement

Gimbal's shaft is visible when it rotates. That is the drawback of this gimbal.
In the app's video mode, the normal mp4 is saved alon with 2 extra files (mp4) with zero mb, are you aware of this? Thanks.

if you didn't get your answer yet, look for the Hohem iSteady V2 model which will do face tracking from any app like Teams, Zoom or FaceTime. It uses a separate face sensor, while this model needs to use the app for following your face. Otherwise, the V2 features are the same as this X2 model

Firmware update failed and now it no longer works, and can't find any support on the website or on Google. After calling and emailing the company several times, I received a replacement, but did get another alter of available firmware update, I should not have, but I did try to update it, and I have another dead useless iSteady X, what a waste of time and money.

I newly brought Hohem instead X2 for my Samsung Galaxy A02 mobile. I registered Hohem Pro Application with my email id also. When I am trying to open camera application found it's been turned off the application. I tried several times. But it's been turned off while opening camera through application. I don't know why. 😑😑 Can you help me please what's the reason. Anyone facing this issue??.
This jitter is terrible... really if the image tends to skip frames, then this sucks..

Hi, I bought a recent isteady x, I've enabled it in the app, and I've already done some tests and use, and now when starting it it imitates two beeps in a row while the axes are out of control, and the device turns off, could you help me with what may be this problem?
Make sure to unlock all 3 axis
@@SiHorrocks Yes, I have already checked and ensured that the 3 axes are unlocked
Only other time I had that is if there's too much weight or its not balanced
@@SiHorrocks I understand, regarding the weight I'm using the same 173g cell phone, and as for the balance, it's practically impossible, when starting gimbal the axes get out of control and even when accessing the calibration option it doesn't respond and turns off
@@SiHorrocks So far I have not found anyone that the device had such an error, when starting it emits 2 beeps, the axes turn abruptly in an uncontrolled way and then it turns off
