One of the best I've ever heard! This one is an honest, no bullshit STAR! Doesn't get any better! ... or any PURER!
I listen to all types everything my passion is blues rock metal old rap punk fork blah blah blah but this girl is amazing I love when people see me all covered in tarts looking like a punk and this is playing loud and im singing along lol. Beautiful voice and song.
Serena at her acoustic best... a true singer-songwriter... can't produce this gritty reality in a studio with electronica... multitracking/overdubbing and the rest of the processing they call "music". This is immediate... from the artist'... to us.
It's a combination of Aminor and Asus2. With the open B String it's turns into a sus2. With the capo on the 5th fret, it's sounds as a Dminor/Dsus2. Hope that helps!
I think he was implying "organic" music as opposed to something that owes it creation to electronics, studio trickery (can you say auto tune) and computers (Pro Tools cut and pasting). Also I wouldn't call digital sampling of someones else's talent and creativity "real" music, but hey that's just my opinion.
@tomster73 - i cant believe rebecca black got more views than serena!" Rebecca Black probabaly has 10x more views for a single auto tuned piece of garbage than all of Serena's songs put together. If not for the fact that Serena obviously LOVES what she does (she was born to sing), it would be a real shame how little she is known outside of a small devoted fan base.
All music is 'real' music. There's just good music and crappy music. Even at that, that's just an opinion and there's no factual way to categorize a song.
