My grandmother loved this show and we used to watch the repeats on UK Comedy Gold on Sundays.
Some BBC comedies of that age seem less funny now, but this one retains its charm. And I retain my crushes on the glamorous Helga and Michelle.

Maria was the most attractive imo- although her French accent was a bit lacking.

How this show lasted as long as it did is beyond me, after all every episode is pretty much the same story…
