the difference is probably slightly more noticeable with higher voltage systems. my ebike is 48v with a top speed of 26mph at 1200 peak watts and my escooter is 60v with a top speed of 45mph at 3600 peak watts. regardless, the results are basically negligible unless youre abusing your machines range, in which case you'd be better off buying a secondary battery to solve the range anxiety.
Maybe not a big factor, but you wore a big jacket for the cold test which gives a little more surface area and a T-shirt for the warm test. The big jacket would cause some drag that he t-shirt would not.
The 50s aren't exactly hot. I've used e-scooters in the hot desert and they tend to overheat when the temperature is over 110. I think 105 is a good limit for using e-scooters without risking overheating.
Ever since I studied battery chemestries, I choosed to use Lifepo4 with integrated heating system, this avoids all riqk of fire😊

I was told I need to do this when the battery is cold, I think I may see different results

It's not but it's hard to get above 50 in the winter, I was more looking at the difference in temp
