Pat Metheny is an excellent musician but today, is music is less ''reachable'' than when he and Lyle were composing together. The harmony and the beauty of the music of two excellent musicians were there.
"Minuano 6/8" is my favorite song ever. For me it's the most perfect piece of music ever written. And you recreated it FLAWLESSLY. Words can't express how impressed I am right now. My eyes watered twice during this rendition. Hats off, man. Hats off.
Unbelievable… just saw Pat live on his solo tour at the Keswick …about 10 times now actually met him years ago … love him❤ … can’t believe this piece was done by only 2 guys … 1 on piano/keyboards & the other playing everything else … OMG !!! Fantastic 👏🏼God bless you 🙏🏽🥳❤️

I have seen them live around 1994-1995 at the Greek Theatre in LA and they were unbelievable, the vocal harmonization was like listening to angels in heaven.

Le résultat est bluffant, surtout qu'il est servi par une virtuosité époustouflante dans son exécution, d'autant plus qu'elle n'est livrée que par... deux personnes (!) dont une joue tous les instruments sauf le piano. Ca laisse sans voix. Pour avoir vu des centaines de reprises de pièces du groupe, celle-ci figure dans le top ten des meilleurs interprétations qu'on peut entendre sur RUclips. Just saw him a month or so ago in L.A. and Joe Dyson his most insanely out of this world drummer and addition of pianist after the legendary Lyle Maya days - sorrowfully missed - is bottom line such that I definitely wouldn’t ever go for cover bands LIVE! Innovation is key on Earth. Broadening horizons by producing new material is what should be the aimed at goal to introduce avid Jazz and other musicians too. It’s what sets us apart. Online displaying is too chopped up.
