I've owned my 2013 Z for almost three years. It is still a head-turner. In fact, I STILL find myself looking back at it at least twice, each time I park it and walk away! I think it looks better than a 911 Porsche or a Corvette. It's probably the most enjoyable/fun car I've ever owned. It has great power, it is lightweight, it handles like a dream, it has great brakes and slick aerodynamics, and decent fuel mileage for a sports car. I've read that some people feel the interior is now outdated? Really? Not me! In fact, I love how the interior pays homage to the original 240z! I also love how rare they are, compared to Mustangs and Camaros, for example. There are times when I don't see another 370Z on the road for several days... and I live in southern California! Is it perfect? Of course not! No car is. When my friends are deciding on which of our cars to carpool in, my car isn't even considered! And I need to utilize all of my Tetris skills just to put my groceries in the back! But its plusses far outweigh its minuses. Could it use an upgrade? Probably. But be careful what you wish for. I've read that it’s very unlikely that naturally aspirated V6 engine will return. As with the rest of the industry, a downsized turbo-four, possibly with hybrid assist, is very likely. Ouch! Enjoy the V6 Z car while you can.
Have 14 touring/sport, remark exhaust, intake tubes. From Charlotte Driven to Tampa back roads. NH with stops in Manassas VA, NJ. Mountains blueridge PW all back roads. Not a single issue, comfortable. Handles so well, gets plenty of looks and compliments. Purchased in 22 for 14,000 and 60,000 mi. If you're small and agile it will help. Looked at Miata, Mini, BRZ not disappointed plenty of power, handling and comfort.
I own a 370z as well and I agree with #2 the most. The car is extremely flat and stable through turns. It took me about a year to find the limits. It's unreal the speeds that you can maintain through a corner.... brakes too on the sport package.
I would look into a sprint booster, its just a little device you plug your throttle harness into and it makes throttle response instant. Awesome little mod, probably my favorite one.
i heard a lot of people say that i basically can't wait enough to get this baby Z even if it got a facelift this beast still gonna top it just like how my 13' Maxima topped this new facelift maxima Thanks
Man I'm really hoping they announce the new Z soon, that new TT motor is sick if they keep the Weight similar she will run to 60 in about 4 seconds flat.
BigHeadClan theyre annoucing it in October 2017. And its theyre probably going to offer it in several different engines like the Infiniti Q50 and Q60s. My guess would be base models have the 2.0T and 3.0TT with 300hp like the premium model Qs and the Nismo will have the tuned 3.0TT with 400hp like the Red Sport Qs. And Infiniti has had the new 2.0T and 3.0TT since 2015 lol.
"it doesn't sound like Nissan has any greater ambitions for the Z. In fact, Nissan apparently doesn't have definitive plans for a successor" very sad www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/news/a33224/nissan-370z-successor/
I own a 2016 base model (without the rev matching). I actually learned to drive a stick in the car when I bought it. It wasn't easy 1st to 2nd is pretty nasty, 2nd to 3rd is rough too. Even after 8 months of driving the car it's not always a smooth transition; that may smooth out at around 12k miles on the clutch, or so I've heard. The clutch is fairly heavy but with that comes the fact that it doesn't slip. The pedal setup isn't the easiest for heel toe as the brake and accelerator are very close together, but you can get a decent blip with the side of your foot. It takes some getting used to.
I own a 2013 370Z Sport and love it! The only part that I would disagree with is the shifting. I have occasionally missed my next gear. With the SyncroRev activated, it'll let you know!
Bros FOURR Speed , it would probably be pretty difficult to do, but I'm 17 and looking into getting an 2009-2011 Mazda Rx 8 r3. could you guys possible review the car? I been researching the car for about a year now, reading forums and reviews and watching as many videos of the car that are out there. But I love what you guys are doing here, and if y'all could review the car, you would literally make my year. Thank you for reading!!! keep up the good content 👍👍!!
Howdy! High five! I watched the video where you lined up the four cars to choose from, I knew/ hoped you would get the Z since I saw your drivers review of it and could tell you really enjoyed it. I LoveLoveLove my 2004 Roadster, but I've said that before. Request--You mentioned heel toe shifting. Please consider putting out a video explaining that, how to, why do it and other sports car driving techniques. Keep up the good work and best wishes. ( I know I'm late to the party as this was a year ago. Still, better late than never.)

I've been looking at 2017 cars to buy, and I've been really considering the 370Z Touring Sport model... Its a reasonable biweekly payment, and it seems to be overall rated well with Handling/Power/Interior/Exterior etc. I'm not really going to be modding it at all, aside from maybe new exhausts for a deeper sound [Although it sounds lovely even with stock], and I've been checking out your videos (Love/Hate/Quirks). I decided I'm going to try and get it, most likely will be driving it end of this month or the start of July. I'm not sure if you even check your comments anymore as this video is 6+ months old, but I was wondering if you've had to replace anything since you've owned it, and how expensive the servicing was for your car? Much love from a Canadian viewer. ♥
Bros FOURR Speed Much appreciated for the reply, especially within 24hrs. I'm most likely going to keep it for three or four years before selling or trading it in for something else. I'm quite excited, days aren't going fast enough hahaha!
Agreed, while not the best interior out there it's 100% better than the awful chintzy feel of the 350Z's interior. The Z34 is what the Z33 SHOULD have been.
The only complaint I had about this car, is the vibration felt through the shifter. I felt like a ball bearing or something is spinning right under the shift knob. I wonder why it does that.
I just got a 2009 370z, my only gripe is that I could not find a manual transmission model for a price I could afford. I ended up paying approx. 2100 dollars under Blue Book value. It's a beast of a car, would buy again, now I need to find a radar detector XD
at 2:58 you could be A LOT more aggressive with your shifts and it doesn't sound like your getting all the revs out of it...learn to shift with your foot on the gas, you're losing ground when you let off the gas like that...
Just wondering, where did you purchase your tinted sun visor on your front window? Or did it come with the car? I'm looking to buy one but can't really find a website that sells them
unknown C&D noted that Z did seem to especially quick, realistically 4.7-4.9 is where she sits. That said the Z is an all-rounder not a pony car, so still darn quick for a sub 30K car.
He has done a few modifications to the car also with better intake and exhaust. In a previous video he said it seemed to help a little more with acceleration. That might be why he said 0-60 in 4.6 seconds.
The test pipes and exhaust would add a bit for sure, but only about 20-30hp at the crank but you would only really see those gains in 1/4 times . Z's are tricky to launch smoothly and It's not like you can clutch drop them at 4K. So those gains are all probably top end, sounds good though. :)
Calculated -MzRe I own a Z. you don't gain that much to 60 compared to the top of the quarter mile when you modify it. so maybe you add .1 seconds to 60 but .3 seconds on the quarter.

Honestly I think it's pretty quiet stock. My stock 2011 is so quiet that when I play my music a little loud I don't really hear my engine at all. I'm thinking of a muffler delete 😈

@@bobabear2011 Aye been very engaged in the discussions on that, although I wouldn't call that big grill "nice".

It certainly takes time to get the clutch right. I use the side of my foot to heal toe, and its pretty easy.

Thanks for the Sub! The 16+ Nismo is such a beast! I love every bit of how they designed it. How do you like the new seats?
I love them. I had added them to my 1LE and new I had to have them in the Z.
You added the Nismo seats in your SS?? How do you like them both? I have a 370z and am thinking of upgrading to a SS..
I added the Recaro sportsters to my 1le. Same seat. And are you looking at a 16 ss?
Josh Cassidy Yes only 16 and up. The only model that is absolutely gorgeous.

The only complaint I had about this car, is the vibration felt through the shifter. I felt like a ball bearing or something is spinning right under the shift knob. I wonder why it does that.
Hey you learned how to shift the Z. I owned one and it does take a little learning. The syn match is great.
Hermen Marshall Try turning the Rev match off and learn it from start. Trust me, you'll get a lot better at it
The 370z is my dream car
Great video, I am curious, How tall are you?

lonewolf031 So you got an automatic?
Kenneth Sev yes I got an automatic.
With paddle shifters? I heard thats the fastest type in the new ones
Yes it has the paddle shifters.

Love this car! Definitely buying this! Great videos man. Ever think about getting those seats that are in the Nismo? They look sick.
Those would be nice to have for sure!
The only thing I regret about buying this car is not having the damn $$$ to do everything I want to it!
What tyres do you have on your Z? I Run Bridgestone Potenza RE003s and they are incredible in the corners.
Toyo Proxies are on it now. So far I have no complaints. Only a little bit of tire squeele in a sharp turn on the track
Just wondering, where did you purchase your tinted sun visor on your front window? Or did it come with the car? I'm looking to buy one but can't really find a website that sells them
Any tint shop will be able to do it. I had my windows tinted last month and I had them do the strip too
Bros FOURR Speed oh okay, thanks man👍
No problem!
will you get new wheels or think of painting those in black ? Or you will keep them stock
If anything, I would paint them black
Bro which one u think is faster between the 370z manual or automatic transmission?
Jose Alfredo Garrido auto

Bro do you know what is the size of the hood. Coz im planning to wrap mine. But i dont know what is the feet. Is it 4x6??
Ken Manalo get a 6x6 so you have more material in case you fuck up
that 4.6 is the automatic. the manual is 4.9 to 60
unknown whoever drove the manual had a horrible take off. it literally takes about about .1 secs to shift slower than the matic
unknown C&D noted that Z did seem to especially quick, realistically 4.7-4.9 is where she sits. That said the Z is an all-rounder not a pony car, so still darn quick for a sub 30K car.
