    Hello,
    The video shows how the speakers are connected via the bi-wiring connection with a normal (2-wire) speaker cable (7:43). Have you inserted the first plug into the treble terminal and the second plug into the bass terminal? Am I correct? Why don't you connect both speakers to the woofer connection, as is usually recommended? What are the advantages of this connection method? Greetings, Michael.🤔

    lol this vid appeared on my feed so i watched it again and have a new comment. were you at Toronto Audiofest? the Monitor Hyphn was significantly better at the Toronto show. they were far less aggressive at Montreal and, as i understand it, that's because some people complained they were too loud the last time. someone sitting next to me said "i am not sure these are worth $120,000" and my reply was "you would have no doubts if you heard them in Toronto" The bass produced by the isobaric "force cancelling" design is astonishing.

    BTW, Excellent review of the Montreal audio show, thanks!

    • @ThomasAndStereo
      @ThomasAndStereo  8 месяцев назад +1

      It depends on the room, speaker and the amount of people in the room. The problem with my room is once you pass a certain volume, it gets aggressive and the bass drowns the details. That is why when I was in the room, I tried really hard to keep fine tunign the sound, even during a song.
      The problem when the volume is too low, and there is a lot of background noise, people cannot 'hear' the speakers. I personally like 80 to 85db at a show. Not 90 to 100db.
