Exciting!
Giving it serious thought as well..
I envy you. Been in USA for the past 26 years. Born in Montreal my dream is to be able to go back…….

All you have to do is get a Uhaul and drive across
Its really a nice drive. ☺️ do it and we'll get a beer in Montréal!

Nah, french is dying, they just don't accept it yet, give them some more time...I am just kidding.
❤ I’m going to Mtl next year! I can’t wait! Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷
For 40 years living in And around Toronto I one day wanted to visit Montreal - Skip ahead 10 years I been to Montreal 10 times I love the food The people the architecture You even see bright colors on some of the homes...Toronto sadly to me is gray It does have alot of nice things about it But Montreal in my heart . And to those that think Montreal is mostly french speaking ...Yes However if you respect a French-speaking Montrealer with your own few French words They smile And are more than willing to help you ..Learn Hello And thank you And excuse me You will be amazed just how far it will get you
I have been there only once five years ago, and I have to go back again, again, again, again and again.
No other place like Montreal. The best, and most beautiful 😍 ❤
Thanks-for your great video. I have made Montreal my home since 1987 after living in both France (Paris, Toulon, Nice) and US (Florida). Glad I did, Montreal and its region has so much to offer and you don't realize how good you have it until you compare to other cities.
I am Polish and I visited Montreal twice. What a beautiful, gorgeous city. Absolutely unique for its European features and international character😊🤩
Poland is the one of the most boring countries in EU. Italy, Spain, Netherlands, France, Lux, Switzerland are the best.
@@ihorv44 So don't go to Poland, better for this country😅
@@aleksandrakozowska776 yes, of couse
@@ihorv44 I disagree. Poland is gorgeous and not boring. It's about the people.
@@underated17 hahaha)) the worst border control service in EU for non EU citizens that I ever met was in Poland. I visited for more than 20 EU countries and the worst experience that I ever had took place in Polish airports or railways. Warsaw, Gdansk, Krakov, Wrozlaw, Przemysl was awful. Thanks a lot but I will never visit this country once again.
Montreal is very beautiful city!❤
waaaay better than what I expected before moving here ! I love every bit of it !
I’m never moving from here, it’s my home over 64 years..
I’ll never understand why all three of my kids left to Alberta..
I Love speaking three languages here and lt has the best foods in all of Canada.
I am Proud to live here. ❤
If you don't mind me asking, is it difficult to get a job if you don't speak french in Montreal? I'm an international student who's gonna come study in Canada very soon if all goes well and I was wondering About the job market in Montreal?

They are making it very hard in Québec, you need to speak, read and write in French.
They are making it very hard for us English folks.
@@yolandanower722 I see.... that's quite bad but I mean I'm open to learning a new language it's just that it'll be a little time consuming but I'll give it a go !
@@codeaim3330 I'm Polish, grew up English and speak French.
The more languages you learn the better your opportunities will be.
The world is your oysters, Montréal has so much to offer.

My love for my city of Montreal is deep. I am originally from Toronto and they don’t compare. I have also lived in NYC, Calgary, Edmonton and Kitchener. Montreal has a special ingredient I have found nowhere else, except in New York in some ways.
It goes beyond the stunning architecture and beautiful views from the mountain. There’s a camaraderie amongst strangers; a feeling of oneness despite the perceived franco-anglo divide. If anything, the Franglais culture unites Montreallers. I have studied hard to be bilingual over the last 4 years I’ve lived here and francophones have been so supportive and patient and helpful.
There’s a creative force in Montreal that gives it a whimsical and light vibe. It’s joyful and playful and happy. People really know how to relax and have fun in Montreal.
One more thing…to the tourists who said they need to come back for 7 days to really explore Montreal…you need a lot more than 7 days!! See you when you return again and again.
Kate yoga is spiritually not safe....
Hi! I really want to move to Montreal and learn French. DId you use any programs to become bilingual?
@@nala6846 I enrolled in the Govt-sponsored fulltime learn French program accessed through Service Quebec. It was amazing.

Wow Montreal is so beautiful. This is an amazing video. Thank you for sharing. New friend here. Greetings from Switzerland and all over the world 🌎
Have you been to the church in suisse where Jesus Christ served mass?
I am moving to this city from june 1st. Really excited
I ❤❤❤❤❤ Montréal, my fave city on the North American continent. While French is passable, I've found over the nearly two decades I've been vacationing there (and in other cities in Québec province) that you don't need to speak much French if you're a tourist. That being said, every person I've encountered has smiled when I make honest attempts to speak French. Many Montrèal residents speak English and will switch over to English -- and then we both smile. 😃
I love this city -- a city that seems to make love to you just for visiting it -- so much that I enjoy it in all four seasons. Of course, in Québec province (and other provinces, too), spring is a short season. Winter is great! Just dress in layers January through March, covering your face and hands, and make sure you pop into a café for a hot bevvie every few hours. You'll be fine. Montréal, 💋 toujours ...

Génial ! Merci pour le vidéo !
For the stupids and some racists negatives comments, Montreal would ne nicer without separatists? Remember that Montréal is the cultural metropolis of Québec, that is why there is so many artists living and the city. Without french, this city would be similar to any north American city. I am fed up of those who despise québécois spirit. If you are not happy with the politics, bad news... it won't stop: there is a question of survival of our own culture. Go live somewhere else if you don't accept the fact that 40% of French speaking are separatists, 35% of the population overall. If you can accept that you are very welcome. I know that you don't need to speak French but you will enjoy the city much more even you can say only few words.
LOOKS BEAUTIFULL
Great place to visit.
We LOVE MONTREAL 🫶🏻🇨🇦
Québec, Montréal.. Vive le Québec!
100% agreed. I lived there for 3 years before moving to New York. Now I'm in Vancouver :(
Missing Montreal.
I’m probably leaving Vancouver for Montreal next summer

Thanks for putting together this compilation. I love my city minus the pot holes and tags.
I find that Montreal has a large rich historic than other Canadians big cities. There is a various architecture. From 1642 to 1967, The brutalism of some building in Mtl is also impressive. The metro, habita67, olympic stadium, and Turcot (highway that was destroyed recently) has some aspect that could make them maybe as the most modern architecture of the wolrd in their time
it's a lot older than other Canadian cities. You should check out Québec City. The best part of Canada.
I'd gladly move here if I knew how, I should work on my french first. the metro, Notre dame, Mount Royal and the old port were my favorite parts of the whole city
Montréal the best city
I'd live here twice if I could.
Moving to Montreal from Toronto glad to get out the cold 😂
Hate to break it to you but montreal is colder.
Also we get WAY MORE snowfall.

What's the church at 8:44 ? Found it… L’église Saint-Enfant-Jésus du Mile-End (St-Laurent and St-Joseph). Not too far from Fairmount Bagel, Drogheria Italian Gnocchi, Leonard Cohen's place, etc.

Montreal is the city I was born in and still live in. It is the best, but the current mayor is terrible and unimaginative. Montreal pros:
Not too much crime here (but there still is some)
Beautiful scenery (Hot girls in skimpy outfits)
Cleaner than many other cities in North America
People are not too rude but not the most polite either
Food at restaurant are usually very good here.
Getting jobs are not too bad (if you can handle some racist french separatist)
Cons:
English are often poorly treated here unless you are tourist spending your money.
Lots of vagabonds constantly asking for money
Taxes are very high here.
Lots of non stop road construction, traffic and potholes all over.
Very cold here for 4 months and lots of snow.
In all Montreal is a decent place but like other major cities has its own bs to deal. with.
