Anjan Sundaram is an award-winning author, journalist and television presenter, whose war correspondence has won a Frontline Club Award and a Reuters prize. Hailed as a ‘successor to Kapuscinski’, his previous books are Bad News: Last Journalists in a Dictatorship (an Amazon Book of the Year) and Stringer: A Reporter’s Journey in the Congo (a Royal African Society Book of the Year). Sundaram has reported from Central Africa for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, The Observer, Granta, Foreign Policy, Politico and The Associated Press.
Antony Loewenstein is an independent journalist who has written for The New York Times, The Guardian and The New York Review of Books. He is the filmmaker of Disaster Capitalism and author of The Palestine Laboratory: How Israel Exports The Technology Of Occupation Around The World and Disaster Capitalism: Making A Killing Out Of Catastrophe.
Ambassador Shivshankar Menon is currently visiting professor at Ashoka University, India, and Chair of the Ashoka Centre for China Studies. He was previously National Security Advisor 2010-2014; Foreign Secretary of India, 2006-2009; and Indian Ambassador or High Commissioner to China, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Israel. He has published Choices: Inside the Making of Indian Foreign Policy in 2016 and India and Asian Geopolitics: The Past, Present.
Praveen Swami is a contributing editor at ThePrint, and writes on regional security issues. He has earlier worked as National Security Editor of The Indian Express, Resident Editor of The Hindu in New Delhi, and as Diplomatic Editor of The Daily Telegraph in London. He is the author of India, Pakistan and the Secret Jihad: the Covert War in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as several edited volumes and academic papers.
