it's not a rule for just the bands from the usa to be talented.. there are many bands which are underrated but much more talented than the ones from usa. even the worst band can be famous in the usa which is not fair..

Why not consider confounding factors when trying to establish a direct causal relationship between ethnicity and the probability of ending up in jail. I am sure if you included some socioeconomic indicators as explanatory variables in predicting the probability of jail time, ethnicity would not be significant predictor.
