    This is very nice. Have you done the same thing for those using your Photoshop version of Da Wood Script?
    I also wonder where I can get the USMC file which you used in this demonstration -- and any other similar 3D type images for laser cutting.

    I'm laser burning images on wood, everything looks great as far as the darkness goes, but the lighter lines do not burn. Is it possible you would know why this is? I'm using greyscale because it is a smoother look and that is what I am after. Things like the neck line and the ears the bridge of the nose don't burn very well. I am using the LM2. I edit the photo in gimp with Da Big Gimpin Plugin. yes i have watched your videos several times but seems nothing i do works.

    Thank you so much for your script, a purchase well made. I was wondering if you could do a video showing what to do, if anything, to have the exported files to be used on lasergrbl. I’m a complete beginner and for some reason lightburn is having issues installing on my computer, so I am using the recommended stock software. Keep up the great work.

    Why would you create a layer of the background, run Da Big Gimping plugin on the original image, then flatten?

    I bought Big Gimping plugin but I do not have the same version as yours where I can select material etc. Is that the V3 part? And if so how do I install that please?

      Correct that is V3, if you don’t have it then login to the website and download again, then you will be caught up with the update for gimp.

    Followed this video but the menu items remain greyed out and I never see a python console pop up for decryption as gimp loads. I have gimp 2.10.14 64b for windows. I see the menu items but they are forever grey.

      I was having this issue too but found out that it had to deal with the photo file format. I’ve been successful with getting jpg and png files that had no transparency layer/filter in it and running properly. Hope this helps at all.

    any of your subscribers have tips for bringing the photo into Glowforge software as opposed to Lightburn? Please share power/speed/vary power/ lpi, etc if you had great success

      Export from gimp as jpg then open in Inkscape or what not and then simply export as .svg and bring into glowforge and use varying power.

    This plugin is incredible.
    It's compatible with a linux distribution?
    I can't install it on my ubuntu distribution but it works perfectly on windows.

    • @thatdudewithalazer9703
      @thatdudewithalazer9703  Год назад

      Thank you 😊 I haven’t ever heard it’s not compatible and as long as gimp installs on the Linux system you’ll be good to go however like a Mac you have to give the plug-in permissions “chmod” and also in the install video where I select the top directory to navigate to the plug-in folder within gimp you may have to select the bottom directory.
      Let me know if you need a hand, you can download teamviewer and I’ll be able to come help you out.

    Its funny how you go through the steps but dont show the end result on a piece of wood or something.
