Love your backyard. I'm 65 and rather be in back yard with my hummers, squirrels, rabbits if we can keep Buddy (great Pyrenees) from chasing them. So peaceful and calming. Love all your lighting ideas, too. Perfect place to wind down.

Growing up we had humming bird feeders at our cabin. It was one of my most favorite past times watching them. We added red dye to the sugar water because they are attracted to red. I guess that’s why the feeders are always red.
Your yard is beautiful! And with the milkweed, yeah, for the monarchs. Thrilled that milkweed pops up all over our yard each year. 🦋🦋🦋

Y’all have done an amazing job on your backyard! It’s so inviting and beautiful. I’m the same way with what you said about your backyard. I love my bird feeders and wind chimes. So calming watching all the different birds eat and hearing my wind chimes singing with wind. Take care and I sure hope you won big!❤🎰

Your outdoor space is gorgeous. I’m one of those people that like to make my porches an extension of my home. Comfy and cozy. Love the lanterns. I have them all over the outdoors. Also agree with the bird watching. Never thought I would be into that but it’s very relaxing to watch. Guess I’m old too. Thanks for another great video.

I love all the cool things you shared today! I especially love all the different lighting ideas! But my favorite is probably the wildlife aspect of your space! I personally have a soft spot for hummingbirds! Myself and two of my other sisters got one tattooed on our leg in remembrance of the fourth sister who passed away! 🙏🏻So I’m constantly looking for ways to bring them into my space! This is my favourite video so far. I absolutely love my outdoor space. I’m off to find a birdbath for an empty space I have. As for the wind chime my neighbor had one until it went missing, it was driving my husband nuts. It was hung next to his hammock if you know what I mean 😂

I don’t have a yard either, but I’m in your old lady club 😂 I’m obsessed with wildlife. I have a corner of my parking lot dedicated to them 🐿🐦 and my deck as well 🦋 I can watch them for hours and they all have names 😂. Such a great video not to mention your yard is amazingly beautiful mama ❤xoxo

I am a native of San Diego and though I have been in Virginia for decades I love hearing the references to my hometown. Your backyard space looks amazing especially in terms of all the space you have and the many different ways in which you utilize it. I am a Master Gardener for my county and so pay particular attention to your plantings. I appreciate you talking about milkweed and Monarch butterflies. It is the only plant that the Monarch caterpillars eat and, as many of your followers may know, Monarch numbers have dramatically dropped in recent years. Planting milkweed helps support them so I hope others who may read this will do as you have done and install some in their landscape no matter its size. One last plug to all - plant more native plants! They support the ecosystem including its critters and pollinators.

Love everything! On my way over to curl up outside with a good book and a Diet Coke. Book 📚 🥤
Vegas is insanely hot these days..115-117 and my little hummingbird friend has to stay hydrated so I add extra cup of water to my homemade nectar and I have to change it every 3-4 days❤.I am committed to do things the right way so they stick around..BTW Aug-Dec is my fav time of the year so I am patiently waiting 🎃👻💀👿🎄🙂🇺🇸
I would really enjoy that space! Do the spheres ever go a rolling? Haha! When my son was little he brought in a chrysalis and put it in his dresser and forgot about it. It hatched and we had a beautiful yellow butterfly flying in the house. It was pretty neat.
The spheres are flat on the bottom to prevent that issue!
