Thank you for this video. My ex partner is a narcissist. My ex choked me once! Then he also pinned me on the floor and I couldn't breathe. He got off just in time. He is 6'2 and 200 pounds! I am only 5'6 and 125 pounds.
Willow Clay Same here he has restricted me from breathing quite a few times now that I really look back but most recently and he was charged for putting me in a chokehold and strangling me he got off that charge because I lied in court. He just did it again about a week ago so now he has another felony and I don’t know what to do in court. I know he’s dangerous and shouldn’t be free but it’s hard to put him behind bars
I was attacked by a guy who was in my residence and he nearly killed me. He took me to the ground, and then I got the upper hand, and started fighting back. Then his friend came from around the corner, decked me to the ground again, allowing the guy who attacked me to get me in a chokehold. He choked me until he realized I wasn't going unconscious and if he kept going any longer I would die. There were 3 other guys standing over me watching him almost kill me, and they let it happen. I called the cops for help, pleading to get there fast as I ran out to the streets to get away. They came, and when they arrived the police laughed at me because I was crying, and asked me "are you mentally ill?" while I was gasping for breath still. The guy was not taken to jail or anything. He is still out there. The police just let him get away with it and did nothing. Years later and I have developed clear chronic GERD and uncontrollable burping. When I swallow my esophagus feels painful. I am a singer too and my voice has clearly changed in a negative way since that attack which is the most painful part of the attack
I am feeling really sorry for what has happened to you. It is really disappointing how the world is and those men and police treated you. I hope that you find what causes you this problem. I have been injured in sports at my throat and really suffer from misplaced thyroid cartilage cornu. You should visit an ENT to get it scanned in order to know what is the issue causing those symptoms.
The police laughed because they do it every day! They change the title and call it chokehold so the stupid judicial system accepts the torture and the thugs with badges don’t get felony charges for strangulation. They actually hire thugs that thrive on torturing people.

WTF?? Excuse me but it is NOT ONLY men using strangulation, females are capable as well!!! I have TBI thanks to a female
