    Tried this the other day, it really did help a lot with finishing the toss and being explosive!

      This is so awesome to hear Corbin! They are honestly just fun games to play as well if you stunt at the same time as others!

    Stunt culture, thank you guys so much for the tips for a basic toss. My flyer and I just hit a toss chair. We are both super new to coed stunts and are wondering how you get so much height with your tosses.

    • @StuntCulture
      @StuntCulture  5 лет назад +3

      Hey Jeremy we really appreciate you watching our videos!!
      That's awesome to hear you just hit that skill! Training that explosive power is a big part of getting your toss to the top.
      But also work on the timing with your flyer and make sure your using her momentum and not just trying to pick her up!
      If you ever need us to critique something just hit us up on instagram :)

      Rafael Coelho thanks man 😃 yeah we do have a lot of fun recording them haha which is good because we want to keep making a bunch!
      Yeah we all use to compete for East Coast Allstars a few years back. An Australian Team 😊
      Do you compete?

      @@StuntCulture I don't compete actually. I live in Brazil and there's not many teams here and the sport is not that big.
      But I love cheer and I actually want to be a flyer on a team hahahha. I also love learning new tumbling skills

      Oh damn :( hopefully it starts to grow a little more in Brazil so that you can end up joining a team. Part of the reason we wanted to release these videos was to bring awareness to the sports :)

    Could you maybe give me some advice? I started cheer super recently and I have plenty of upper body strength so I’ve been able to progress really fast and I can learn most of the stunts pretty quickly due to that, but I have really strong legs and I’m just not sure how to activate them. My coaches say they can see that I’m not using my legs to power my tosses and that once I can figure that out, my tosses should increase drastically. Do you have any games or tips on how to force myself to activate my legs more?

    Any ideas on training explosiveness with weights? I stunt 3 times a week in practice, and still cant get toss platform :(

    • @StuntCulture
      @StuntCulture  5 лет назад +1

      Hey Kittpewpew I would focus on exercises like: squatting wall ball throws, weighted squats exploding on the way up, power cleans, squats cleans, power snatches. If you would like send me a video on instagram and I can see if it's something in your technique :)

    Why do you start in a squat? At first it looks like you want to squeeze a gigantic fart out of you. It looks very tense. Just stay relaxed and only get down on your knees with the Partner together. This saves energy, makes you look more professional and have more effective success with it.
