this game would be so much better if it had better AI, and maybe other features regarding NPCs, other than that its a pretty solid game
I think its hard to find good, patient players who like to strategize.
@@papayani6446 i agree but i think in a slower and more realistic gameplay if you wanna focus on that, you would need far more people with you than just 3 companions to take on a huge base filled with robots. thats why i like realistic games where you can take multiple npcs with you on missions in singleplayer more. I find it funny where devs say their game is realistic but throw you alone to fight hundreds of enemies lol. But i think until then the npc "intelligence" should be significantly improved
@@2ral2f86 yeah. ai is insanely dumb and unaware. but i dont mean that as an insult to developers. I dont see smart AI anywhere. I think we arent there just yet when in comes to game development. The only smart ai i can remember now is from alien isolation. But its different since that is not an open world game, and an open world presents AI with far more different variables and outcomes.
I think having a squad of 12 men would do for a realistic gameplay, if the ai was smart.
@@papayani6446 The a.i. smartness depends on what game difficulty you have chosen. I've play breakpoint with no hud all the hardest settings and you HAVE to play stealth do recons ect.
@@foodforthought2180 i dont mean to brag or anything, but i play it on hardest with no hud and its easy. It was challenging in the beginning, but after first 10 hours of gameplay, i could do any mission with my eyes closed. And i think part of the reason why is that the AI is too dumb, too unaware to give me a challenge. I always did stealth and recon. the only time when its difficult is when i play with other people because we have to have a good chemistry between us in order to play efficiently, and you cant have that with everyone.
And domt get me wrong, im not complaining. I think when it comes to ai intelligence in open world games, the game development simply isnt there just yet cuz in all open world games i played, ai is dumb and doesnt show any resemblence of a tactic in their mind.
Ghost Recon 1 was such an awesome game. Sure,the graphics weren’t nice even back then, but it was very realistic, almost like a war simulation. I loved it just as much as Operation Flashpoint and Arma. Unfortunately, starting with Ghost Recon 2, the series turned into completely different arcade games.

I died so many times on Ghost Recon 1. I remember how proud I was completing the campaign. I remember also crawling all my way out during every single mission so much death could strike swiftly.
GR 1 was game where you get hit with one bullet and you are dead! That was the game!
Gr2 and Gr2 SS wasn’t bad but after those it got worse.
I miss that game. The dreamcast version was awesone too. Between the tarmac air force one and the submarine. Not to mention I found out about T'blisi lol. Os getting sniped as soon as I left low crawl was infuriarlting. It was at the bottom of tge hill. A truly classic game.

It's refreshing to see a video of someone that plays like me instead of the no HUD expert level stuff on most channels.
The game is adjustable enough that people that don't do well in other tactical shooters like Arma 3 and Ready or Not can do alright in Breakpoint.
This game was so good and underrated and the online experience to okay with others was so fire , too bad I found it so late it’s hard to find other players to play with now days
This game was not good at launch otherwise it would still be alive. Good games don't die after a few months. This game had a ton of potential to be great but fell way too short and launch and should have been delayed another year before being released.

The very first game I bought with my then new PS4 and afaik people are still playing it online until they shut down the servers for good.

You should have a survival mode that means instead of stat buffs for eating and drinking you get stat de-buffs for NOT doing that stuff.
And you could customise this experience with ingame restrictions aswel.
Being hungry for example could restrict you from carrying bodies.
Being thirsty could restrict a players ability to sprint.
And having them all on low could result in random injury.
And you wouldn't need to add anything, just tweek the ingame command settings.
And just like that you have a completely different game and feel.
Bro just go play Ark: Survival if you want all of that

I love this game, I don't know why it gets all the hate, you can literally make the settings exactly how you want them.
Because it's unrealistic.. Call it a game, thats no near to realism. Then we can talk about it. But if any one think, that this is close to the real thing... Then they are stupid as sh.t
@Nick Gillespie I prefer it to Wildlands because it is quiet, Wildlands just keeps screaming the same shit the whole game over and over, Breakpoint has a more chill vibe, when I play Wildlands I feel like I'm being yelled at by my Spanish teacher.
If one thing is really outstanding about this game is that the game really lets you play the way you want it. I have never seen so many options to customise a AAA game. I wish more games were like this. I would love to play assassins creed titles without hud, but they are not designed for that. Ubisoft makes really good looking games.

This games is honestly worth it on the ps5 with preformance mode on and more realistic settings I have no crosshair but I could easily hit a shot over the shoulder 75-100 meters very rewarding also ammo loss on reload having to count your bullets with one teammate
I lowkey wish this game had a level creater where players can create there on level something similar to far cry 5.
I wish modders can pick up this game, there is so much more customization that could be done to make this game better and more realistic
Too bad many people who struggle to play this will not be able to experience how beautiful it is. That’s why devs leave the patch update and focus maybe to the sequel. Hopefully not internet required this time. Last time i played was wildlands.

Very realistic....As soon as I heard the terms "silencer" and "bad guy" I knew this game was far from realistic. Or "sneaking up" on an enemy by 1, parachuting in 50 yards from camp and then 2, going prone literally 15 feet away from the enemy before taking a head shot. I couldn't get past 1 minute of this. 🤣

This game had such potential. Ubisoft could support the game with good content and new mechanics (and it did in some form) but instead they took every opportunity they had to push people away from the game with such a greedy mentality. I like this game alot, but it could be so much more special.

It baffles me how they don't realize that single player offline story gameplay MUST be the default gaming mode with online multiplayer/co-op only being OPTIONAL.
You shouldn't have to be connected to the internet to play the single player mode of a game.
It turns the single player gamers off of these game's and it's why they always bomb.
You'd think they'd learn after the failures of Anthem, this game, Division 2, Watchdogs Legion, etc.

Can someone please help. I am trying to play Ghost recon breakpoint, but keep getting a msge saying your connection to Ubisoft severs has been lost. I have to uninstall and reinstall the game to play every time. I can't submit info to Ubisoft as their support site just takes me in circles and can't submit a claim. All troubleshooting done with Xbox (Microsoft), nothing wrong with Xbox x. Playing digital copy now as hard copy was doing the same so returned it. It's been 2 months and getting nowhere, anybody help, please no troubleshooting, all been done.
