King Kai definitely deserves that wish because he's been there for a long enough it was Goku's fault to begin with and he made a promise that he will bring King Kai bubbles and Gregory back to life with the dragon balls
King kai gets the sh** end of the stick throughout the entire series. It's insane how much he has to deal with because of them. And king kai has been one of the most helpful people to them flat out. To the multiverse actually considering how what he taught has been used constantly and is critical help. Yet Goku decided it was okay to sacrifice them and then leave them dead all this time. Sheesh. They really don't deserve king kai.
They really just shafted Goku because of their own selfishness. Gohan was the only one with a decent reason, half (quarter?) saiyan kids might be different from humans in terms of sickness.

I always thought that the filler episode where gosh tried to bring back king Kai was cannon since they used 2 of the 3 wishes, one where master roshi gets women to like him, while the other wishes pan wasn’t sick anymore, since that episode, no one made any other wishes since the TOP saga was about to start.
Honestly surprised that King Kai didn't try to contact the Namekians to bring him back, or at least wish that Goku wouldn't forget. Or heck just ask Bulma, to possibly ask Whis to revive them xD

Because king kai takes care of a quarter of their universe. King kai staying dead all this time let's everything go unchecked and anything bad going on doesn't get stopped. It's not like king kai has the luxury of roshi who isn't responsible for anything and can sit back and do nothing forever. Cmon now. King kai didn't even really mind being sacrificed to help save everyone from cell. Give the guy a break.

And Since Goku's already brought an absurdly powerful Bio Android, AND the G.O.D. by unannounced, it's hardly a stretch to assume that he'll eventually get them all obliterated, somehow.
