Absolutely stunning video. This is one of my favorite songs, I rank it up there with Claire De Lune and the entire Tao of the Dead album. You guys are the most underrated band in the world.

Wait, this mix is different than the album version. That is a completely different vocal take. Very interesting.

Yeah the whole mix is different than the album, some of the guitar parts sound more acoustic in this version, I like it.

just heard source tags first to last song (focusing listening, not background) and after being totaly amazed by that gorgeous album (a masterpiece that NEVER gets old) I was wondering if this band was still around and here I am after watching this video! AWESOME TRACK!!! your music is INSPIRING as f*. The sensation after listening to your songs is this: inspiration, life.
Gonna update myself for your last record. Thanks for everything!

The album The Godless Void which this song from is seriously good
Almost astonishing after this amount of time and albums
I was a major fan of Madonna and the first album then I kind of migrated away but bought this last album out of always retaining a soft spot for them .
It’s a great album and reminded me what I loved about them in the first place .
Not an ounce of fat on the album
Love Something Like This absolute ear worm tune
Keep rocking peace and wellness to the all my fellow Trail Of Dead fans

Seems pretty late in the game for a video from this album when XI is around the corner, but I love it all the same. X: Godless Void has solidified itself as my 2nd favourite ToD album. Can't wait for the new one. Penny Candle sounded great on Paste.

Godless Void contains one of my favorite tracks they've ever done. Recently completed my collection of their entire lp discography and I'd put my rankings order something like this:
      1. World's Apart (clear #1 for me honestly, from here it gets tougher to call the next few)
      2. Tao of the Dead
      3. Lost Songs
      4. Godless Void
      5. Source Tags
[Probably put Elena's Tomb EP here]
      6. Madonna [Below this I listen to albums start to finish less and cherry pick tracks]
      7. So Divided
      8. Century of Self
      9. IX (Buslines and another track or two only real notable songs on this for me)
Their Self Titled/1st album I've not familiarized myself enough yet with to call it's rank on the list. My eternal gratitude to Adam Freeland for introducing me to these guys all those years ago on a 'Back to Mine' lp. One of the most underrated bands I know of and one of my favourite bands easily.

    [Verse 1]
    When you wanna breath
But no air can be found
Whan you wanna think, when you wanna feel sane again
    But sanity does not abound
    When you wanna grieve
But the thought that you might never be happy again
Is enough to drag you down
Do you ever think you could ever feel safe again
    With disharmony all around
    [Spoken Word]
Nachts, wenn das Meer mich wiegt
    Und bleicher Sternenglanz
    Auf seinen weiten Wellen liegt
    Dann löse ich mich ganz
Von allem Tun und aller Liebe los
Und stehe still und atme bloß
    Allein, allein vom Meer gewiegt
Das still und kalt mit tausend Lichtern liegt
Dann muß ich meiner Freunde denken
Und meinen Blick in ihre Blicke senken
    Und frage jeden still allein:
    Bist du noch mein?
    Bist du noch mein?
    [Bridge]
And when your home is gone how long will you wander now
And when your road is lost, how long will you be gone?
    [Verse 2]
    When you wanna breath
But no air can be found
When you wanna leave, when you want to get the hell out of here
    But leaving is not allowed
When you want to live, when you want to create again
But your means are no longer sound
Do you ever think you should ever feel sorry for them
The ones you loved that dragged you down
