MCR was the first concert I've ever been to the year they released The Black Parade. I've seen artists that I like A LOT more like Kendrick but MCR is still the best concert I've ever seen
I like MCR but they aren't my favourite band but this song is massively important to me. My Uncle died of cancer in April and before he died he listened to the song constantly. It was actually the last song he ever heard. I really liked hearing your perspectives of the song as a neutral viewpoint. This was a great video 😊
The you referred to in this song as far as i know is the patients girlfriend which is where the part about if you say goodbye today I'd ask you to be true comes into play cause she's overwhelemed with him dying of cancer and can't cope with things and is leaving him durring his treatment

i love the fact your daughter knows the old mcr stuff. its so inspirational, most of the shit they dial nowadays is so stupid compared to what we were singing about 10 years ago, nobody listened but we continue to try to do it and it gains no traction...
