Nice work you did here. And good video edit and audio👍 i have not see your other video’s but it would be nice to make it full metal with axels and stuff. You get more balance and grip to🙂
that was super relaxing to watch, and nice brazing work with that rod, those are not the easiest to use. another little trick on the leaf springs to to put rubber o-rings in between the leafs and where they mount to the axle. that gives them just a little more movement. also to help with the side to side movement once you have v shaped the ends, use small pieces of nitro fuel tubing win the eyelets. you can also slightly crush the leaf eyelets to make them kinda oblong shaped, that also aids in more flex.
When I first saw these I got excited because it's a samurai but then I found out how much smaller it is compared to my scx10 and I didn't want it anymore. After watching your video, I think I may pick one up anyways and use it just how it is.
...very nice! Thats why I love the wpl's. These are great platforms to realize Ideas. I also have the jimny and done similar mods: same color, silvered grill... The next mod will the gearbox (V3). Thanks for sharing your skills 👏👏
I had a buddy, RIP, he had a samurai and later a Tracker. Both vehicles ran all day and still had gas to get home. We were wheeling in places a CJ would find challenging. Pick a trail and you’ll see where it leads in the Samurai.
I had an 88.5 tintop back in the 90s. This rc looks scale compaired to other 1/10 scale rigs. Park a sammy next to a square body 80s chevy then hold the same rcs in your hand. Same same. People that never owned a sammy just dont get how small they are. I think thay nail the size of this rc.
@@MrLiamPickering sorry dude i dont understand, the hub adapter it’s a file to print ok here understand… but that kind of rims? Are made from another model??
@@richardcranium5393 😂😂😂 It is have you seen a SJ next to any other car? I think it pretty accurate to 1/10 if place next to other more scale accurate stuff like rc4wd TF2 or even the tamyia cc01 pajero. What you are probably use to seeing is other brands "1/10" scale which are more like 1/8. Compared the Traxxas TRX4 landrover defender to the RC 4wd defender massive difference between "1/10 scale" Let not argue about scale and just enjoy the hobby
Love how your wife is hanging with you and helping she enjoys watching you build things and that's awesome. Much love from East Tennessee

I just love how the community responds to new wpl releases and awesome projects pop up! Great work on your build Liam, love the color!
Wow awesome video my friend,, and cool rc car 👍👍💯
I think it's the best color and cool setting out of the WPL Jimny videos.
Thank you for the good information as well.

Very scaled COMPARED to other 1/10th scale rigs 😂
You can try to save the paint by getting some super fine model sand paper to take the high spots off and then use car polish to remove the scratches.
Ah kinda too late I put a big scratch in it from rolling it
Recommend 3m hand glaze for clear coat. Wax on wax off. Lol
Honestly, your video is absolutely amazing. Thanks for inspiring me on my new WPL Jimny. SUB for sure. Kind regards from Germany, Chris
Great work. Great video. 👍
Nice work
Looks awesome I really want one now. Great video, thank you.
wow cool build rock crawler bumper! Time for a winch too ha ha! I wish i can make a bumper like i make for my 1:1 Samurai.
it turned out amazing😍
ศิลปะชั้นสูง👍
definetly reccomend investing in an airbrush, can get some pretty decent ones for around 80-90 quid
Wiedermal tolles Video. Grüße 💯👍👏👏
Nice work .. i'd love to do something like that if and only if I had the skills (and time) to do it. 😞 Btw, you should get an air brush paint setup
Do it then. Don't put yourself down.
I did this build over 2 weeks mainly in the evening after work for maybe a hour at a time.
Skills can be learnt.
Awesome video! One day I will attempt brazing a bumper or roll cage, what is the stick you are using to weld the steel tubing?
To be honest I can't remember as I bought them like a year ago in like 20 of them in 3 feet lengths
Nice RC Bro 😍
Looks great 🦾🦾👌👌
Looks great!
How did you manage to get the wheels within the fender. mine same as yours but the wheels came wide over the fender. any advice😁
I'm gonna do the Chino mod on my springs
Good work💪😉✅️
In a couple of weeks I'll start to upgrade and mod mine.
What tires do you use and what is the diameter?
outstanding work! What's the size of grill mesh ?
What's your next upgrade project? MN82 land cruiser? Please post the video if you decide to do it. Thanks.
