As you can control the volume from the one connected to the device, I have also noticed you can control the volumes of the other ones individually from the rest. That gives you the ability to control the sound field depending on where your listening position is.
You are incredible! You answered all the questions as simple as everyone wanted!! Thank you so much , im going to buy the xtreme 2 because of the bass and because i have a flip 4 and a charge 4 and ill connect them together
Well thank you for the compliment 🙂. Everyone else's video seemed to just skip over the main questions I always had so I wanted to help out anyome that thought like me and wanted the answers 👍.
the xtreme is bass heavy and easy to carry beacous of the strap but the charge has partyboost and the 30w woofer both are verry nice speakers nice vid btw
I own & love the Charge 5 but it's definitely not better than Xtreme 2 since it's a smaller mono portable speaker compared to the slightly huge stereo system of the Xtreme 2.
Unfortunately I believe the partybox 100 uses tws mode while the xtreme 2 uses straight connect plus so I belive the only way to pair them would be an aux splitter cable
I agree my two Charge 5s in stereo sound very good. But they don’t compare to my two Xtreme 2s in stereo. The Xtreme’s give a more immersive, more powerful and a richer sound vs the Charge’s. For their size tho and portability the Charge’s are good. I feel i’m part of the music with the Xtreme’s, I don’t get this with the Charge 5’s.
@@celovek472This is nonsense, Charge 5 is quieter than Extreme 2. Although they have the same power, Extreme 2 somehow has 2 high-frequency drivers and 2 low-frequency drivers. It's simply louder for charge 5
@@ibyopappy owh I see, xtreme 3 is now on sale at my country.. It around $299..and charge 5 also on sale at $181 which one should I buy.. I like to use speaker at home and also outdoor..I'm a basshead..
I haven't made it yet as a reviewer so I'm not quite to the giveaways portion of my career just yet lol but definitely thank you for all your kind words.
I was once a JBL fanboy buying two charge3, two charge4, and 1 xtreme2. I thought JBL was a good buy until I heard sony speakers, I sold all my JBL and buy sony. Marshall, and bose are also good sounding speakers. Now I realized JBL is the worst sounding of all expensive brands. The bass is boomy but you cant hear it outdoors. One thing is for sure JBL is only a studio speaker not good for open areas. JBL clearly lacks upper bass.
I used to own sony speakers like the bx 41, xb20, xb22, xb33 and my brother had the xb43 and when I tried jbl for the first time i realised sony is shit. No deep bass and muffled sound compared to jbl. I even tested the charge 5 against the xb43 and completely destroyed the sony. No matter how much i tweaked the eq jbl sounded better. Bose is good but their portable speaker lineup is very limited. Marshall is good for country, rock and vocal focuse music while jbl is better for rap, edm and party music overall
@@Pablo-hw5ik lmfao I think Sony makes a good version of every product except bluetooth speakers. It’s their Achilles heel. I also like everything about JBL since the Charge 3. These two comments are hilarious tho, the same story in two different journeys. Lol
I bought 2x charge 4's before Christmas. Because they were on sale for $80... $80 is definitely a great price for a Charge 4.. it's a durable speaker. There are definitely better out there but for $80? The Charge 4 is certainly worth it at that price.
This is a great review and answers all the questions I had. You deserve more views my guy.
Thank you brother. You jus got a new subscriber from me 👍

Thank you brother I definitely appreciate your kind words my friend👊
Great review! I'm looking from a upgrade from my Flip 4
Thabk you! 👍I'll be uploading a flip 5 vs flip 6 video in the next few days
2xExtreme 3 + Charge 5 sound so good. Really really good. Thanks for the review.
What's the name of the song because I got an extreme 3 and flip 6.
The newer speakers are Bluetooth 5.1 vs Bluetooth 4.2. I suspect it's not possible to daisy chain across different Bluetooth versions
Perfect vid answers my questions 👍
Thanks dude I didn’t reaslise about the Bluetooth thing nice one mate
I'm glad I could help 🙂
I found the proper video) this what I’m looking for )) to put some music while riding my bike. How is charge5 sounding on the speed ?

Hey thanks for the video! I found it very helpful and informative 👌 👍 good lookin out!
Both can pair with each other?
I have a JBL charge 5
And it's pretty good
As a small speaker its good
And have good sound quality
Hello all well? I really like listening to funk, electronics, which one would you recommend?
Xtreme2 or charge5 at same price which one should i get?
If you are looking at hooking up multiple speakers that are newer than the charge 5. If you are going to run it on its own definitely the extrem 2
Nice content i have i question i have jbl partybox 100 and i order a jbl xtreme 2 you can connect together?
Unfortunately I believe the partybox 100 uses tws mode while the xtreme 2 uses straight connect plus so I belive the only way to pair them would be an aux splitter cable
Can I pair extreme 2 to charge 3,4,5 all together for party mode or party boost, to all play together ??? Thank you
Jbl extreme 2 is compatible with charge 4, flip 4 , pulse 3 and jbl boom box original only.
@@ibyopappyCharge 3 is also compatible, only Charge 3 must be on the new firmware

For traveling i think charge 5 is best because for it's compact size..nd take less space in ur luggage 👍
Great Video! Great information! :D
Thank you🙂
Charge 5 and extreme 2 is have sound difference very much?
Yes , charge 5 is louder, but xtreme 2 has balanced sound and better bass
@@celovek472This is nonsense, Charge 5 is quieter than Extreme 2. Although they have the same power, Extreme 2 somehow has 2 high-frequency drivers and 2 low-frequency drivers. It's simply louder for charge 5
Thank you. This one is exactly what I needed
🙌🏽🙌🏽👏🏼
Which is the best??
I want extreme 2 but no more in shop
buy online
Charge 5 sounds louder than xtreme 2. Is that correct?
No question the extreme 2 is louder and has stereo sound vs mono
Since I own 2 Charge 4's I'd get an Extreme 2 to connect to them instead of buying an extreme 3
😍jbl extreme 2 😍💪
which one would you get if they were the same price?
If you could find the extreme 2 for the same price as the charge 5 buy the extreme 2.
@@ibyopappy the xtreme 3 not good?
The extreme 3 is a very excellent speaker I Still use them while I ride my motorcycle

Then id definitely go witht the extreme 3 if you want more bass
In terms of sound quality and quality, DINDIN Bluetooth speakers are also a good choice.
wow nice review u have a nice speakers ...can i have that 1 extreme 3??? christhmas gift sir...ahaha

Good video but isnt right to compare the sound when charge 5 was closer to the microphone and the extreme 2 farther away. Otherwise good content.
