Fun fact about the Chris Evans cameo:
Ryan reynolds texted Chris asking if he wanted to do a cameo, and miraculously he just happened to be in the neighborhood, so he showed up, they bought him a coffee (the one hes drinking in the cameo) and the whole thing was done in 10 minutes.
This movie was way better than what the marketing made it seem like. It has some good laughs as well as some heart and clever ideas.
3:07 No, you shouldn't have read the IMBD entry for this. The fact that you didn't know it was a video game made the first three minutes that much better. (Though I was already chuckling at you telling us that you not seeing this yet is on us, the audience.) This level of blind reacting was unexpected and extra fun. ^_^

13:55 That'll be the barrel of the gun. You might also hear "chamber," but that's more the inside tunnel that the bullet shoots through. Kinda like...think roof vs. ceiling. The muzzle of the gun is also there, so you're not technically wrong, but it's only the opening at the very end and I think you were talking about the entire top half. Also, the holster is what the gun would rest in while you're carrying it around. Like a sheath for a sword, or a quiver for arrows.

Also, I think you sort of missed the whole premise. It's not low stakes, because the idea is that the AI is actually sentient. So shutting down the servers and resetting everything is in a way kind of like a genocide, wiping out an entirely new form of life.
Also, that could explain why the grandparents and everyone are watching the livestream. Because the first sentient AI was discovered and is fighting for its survival. That would be a pretty monumental cultural event, not just a regular video game live stream.
I love, love your reactions bro! I was just wondering if you've ever reacted to older films around the 50's-60s? The films that I'm talking about are Wait Until Dark (1967), The Nanny (1965), and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane (1962). They are more like suspense thrillers and will have you on the edge of your seat. If you watch Wait Until Dark, that's a movie that should be watched with the lights off.

@@RivalReacts omg!! I’m glad someone finally recommended these! Especially Wait Until Dark. It’s one of my favs and Audrey Hepburn’s acting was amazing in this! The ending had my heart beating so fast😩 this is a must watch. The Nanny is a good one. I’ve heard good things about Whatever Happened to baby jane. I have to watch that when I have time
I remember being pretty skeptical when they promoted this movie. It would be so easy to make this a cringy, bad movie. Normally I wouldn't care, but I enjoy Ryan Renolds quite a lot and felt a bit worried.
But they managed to pull it off, which is honestly quite impressive. It's worth the one-time watch and will give you enjoyment with a satisfying ending.
