Given what the alternatives are its actually remarkably inexpensive. Honestly with some basic fab skills and tools you could build a frame it's not a complex part, you could buy a die for $160 and build a frame for probably $55-$75. Be out the door for under $150.
I need something to bend 1/8 inch steel rods. Actually nothing larger than 1/4 inch. But i need to be able to make circles not just 90° curves. I can't find ANY tools small enough, even to DIY. Any ideas/suggestions❓
A roller style bender is what you would need, it uses a series of adjustable rollers to make bends. Here's one from harbor freight that might work, they call it a ring roller but i think it would do what youre looking for: www.harborfreight.com/gear-driven-ring-roller-36790.html
Anyway you can give dimensions of the bender frame like the locations of the holes etc was thinking about building one
Email me, my email is over on my channel page and I can get you some dimensions.
It looks so small, I was hoping it would have been more affordable.

Thing is the jd2 is a copy of the hossfeld
It works well for the price so I'm not mad.

@@fishhuntadventure Yes, Hence the Drawn Over Mandrel name. What she was looking for was a roller type bender.
They only have 5" and 7" radius (center line), that may be an issue for some.
That's certainly a drawback but for the price it's hard to beat.
