Really, really, really sad about this cast. Especially the American part. I don't want to see none of them again. I do like them and they have all been great and fun, but I'm DONE with Eureka and Alexis. Just DONE. No more. Same with Jujubee who I LOVE. I just never want to see her compete again.
Same. Especially after UK vs. TW 2 which was loaded with superstars from non-English speaking countries. On this cast, there is very little representation from “the world” and most of this cast has already done some variation of All Stars before, several of them pretty recently.

Love you guys so much! I was on a Twitter Space with Alexis Mateo and she said for the CVTW2 promo, they were a given the theme 80s wrestler and a color pallete of green/fuschia/purple. Also, they did have to bring the look with them to film as they filmed meet the queens directly after filming the season! ❤️
Unfortunately the others who were meant to be on from the international franchises weren’t able to get their Canadian work visas. These Visas are notoriously hard to get if you’re from any other country but the US and UK, even France due to the high French Canadian demographic in, well, Canada, especially compared to UK work visas. So it’s not really the casting departments fault sadly. There were so many people who are believed to have dropped due to the difficulty including Vinas and Bernie from Phillipines, Aquarela from Brazil, Anne Mae from Thailand and allegedly so many more (hence why the cast rumours had so many queens)

I think Eureka's look was giving--at least to me, the classic "World Strongest Man" vibes from those early 1900's late to mid 1800's circus acts. I can see it and I like the twist of it being a thick girl, if that was what she was going for, I can see this being an in-ring wrestling character.
The way the boots are styled on Lemon elongates the legs, making them also look thinner and more shapely. 💛

So about the part about not Branding on Twitter Eureka said that they had to bring a promo with them flying into the show and then they filmed the promo after the show ended so they didn’t know which runway was gonna be the promo and that’s fucked up.

VS The World is such a stretch. The Philippines, Down Under, Holland, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Belgium, Sweden, Germany, and even Queen of the Universe have so many queens to pick from. I love seeing people back 3+ times when it's been a while, but call it Canada vs US & UK ft. La Kahena because as much as I love the US franchise it's giving the finale will be Canada vs the US without even thinking about it. Maybe it is harder to get queens from around the world for this particular show, and as it stands now I still will be watching because I love the show, but will have the thought of its just Canada vs 2% of the world.

Unpopular opinion, I don’t dislike that we get All Stars so frequently. I don’t need big names to compete, any girl that enters that Werqroom is an All Star in my eyes (unless they get disquilified and edited out of the show). I also don’t care if they bring girls back a third or a fourth time tbh cause I just want to see them on my TV again. I definitely agree that there could be more time inbetween some girls coming back like, I don’t really get why Eureka is back again so soon and I don’t really care to watch an entire season of her again tbh, and I also agree that more one-off girls should get their All Stars opportunity. But am I excited to see Alexis Mateo and Kennedy Davenport on my TV screen again? Absolutely. Imo the problem with All Stars has never been with the casting or its frequency, it’s always been with production and the dumb decisions they make.
My moment of wow was when I met Al Jourgensen of Ministry. He said I saw you rocking out out there. I was like that’s what you have to do! So i understand your excitement.

There are so many UK queens, I'm an old lady in Texas and I think UK deserves its own Allstars! Nothing against Cheryl but why not a new one? Also why all the American powerhouses? They are legends and don't have much to prove. Make this a real show for us to get to know the other Queens and it would be HUGE

I don’t think he’s super strict about it, but Le Fil prefers he/him pronouns in drag. I think it has a lot to do with the gender fk aspect you mentioned.
I will say this, this needs to be the last Vs the World season. Global All Stars is now a thing. Therefore it defeats the purpose of Vs the World. And besides, both UK & Canada have enough seasons under their belts to where they can both have their own All Stars seasons

Fans always being pissed about something instead of just enjoying it is getting old.
It's not just the lack of geographic diversity that bugs me (people have mentioned how hard it is to get Canadian work visas), it's the fact that for the majority of the cast this will be their third or fourth time back. Two of them even competed in a prior VTW season. There's SO MANY talented queens who haven't even gotten a second chance but they keep bringing back the same people. I'm excited to see Kennedy again, but for everyone else it seems like they competed on a different AS/VTW too recently.
Seeing Mera on my twitter feed was so hilarious and seeing everyone not knowing who Mera was is SO FUNNY

I really don't mind the CVTW cast. I'm actually pretty excited to see some of the girls that are cast in the season. But i really don't care for the promo theme. That theme with the color pallet they gave them is really hard to make look more fashionable, and almost all of the promo looks just looked cheap and very Party City. If they were going to go with the wrestling theme, they should have chosen a different color pallet, or let the girls choose their own colors completely. The super bright neon colors just don't work for it.

the Canada vs the world promos for both seasons so far have all just been majority boring despite a fun theme :/
I'm fine with a queen coming back for a third chance, but I feel that a fourth is pushing it. Maybe replace Eureka and Alexis with people in similar veins with more to prove (need to finish up their 'story'), a good two could be maybe....Akeria and Thorgy. One thing that I liked about UKVTW2 was that the American picks weren't just the 'superstars' from All Stars, they were beloved but not expected.

I kind of get why Canada attracts less franchises than the uk might, given that uk has rupaul. Besides, going on a season where you have to speak a language other than your native tongue is hard, plus going against girls who do speak English as a first language… it takes a lot of courage and self confidence

The thing is…all of the cast is heavy hitters, and over half is on their third or fourth time competing. WHOEVER are the first few out are gonna have a very unfulfilled journey. Similar to Mayhem going out first on UKvsW…her appearance felt so pointless, especially since it was her third time competing.
