Beautiful is the exact word. Great twists too, because u think the dad is a thieving coward & the mom an unfeeling ball buster & then u find out they’re the most loving family ever, protecting their son even as he repeatedly hurts them physically & emotionally. Makes u teary-eyed 😢
Dead line (the fourth episode you discuss) was broadcast live in October 2018 as a Halloween special. At least 20 % of the audience changed channel not realising the 'techinical issues' were planned. It was a very fun experience watching live! Reece Shearsmith really did send the tweet live

Emily and Mr Jelly (the clown) were also a character in the series and there are references to events in this series
In response to a certain comment below. 1. Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton who write and appear in this series have been with their respective wives for around 25 years and are fathers. 2. The episode The Referee's a Wxxxer addresses the homophobia in UK football culture 3. There are scenes of men and women kissing in later episodes in this series - is this pushing an agenda?
Speaking as a gay person though, I do understand how people have become hyper sensitive to these topics, although I’m glad that the show is generally NOT pushing any agendas or comes across like propaganda like so many poorly written shows lately.
