I am 26 and up till now didn't know very well Shawn's work, but while listening to this song tears started rolling my face. The lyrics, the beat, the life of this song is breath-taking. This song is about embracing your fears and then let them go and live and seize life regardless. It hits different when you feel like you are someone who has held herself back in the past and is in a transition phase of that. Why are people hating ? He has an amazing voice & he can actually sing , he doesn't add or use auto tune , like most celebrities . He's just being himself , what's wrong with that ?.

Unfortunately every artist uses forms of auto tune to fix their small edges. And only a small band of people actually use it noticeably but can still recognizably sing.
