DEF LEPPARD - HYSTERIA Drum Cover

Hello Boys and Girls...
Would you believe that in all the years I've been on RUclips and the 200+ songs that I've recorded...I've never recorded one Def Leppard song...until now! So many great songs to choose from so I decided to go with a classic and probably one of their longest songs...HYSTERIA.
I found that Rick Allen's style (after his unfortunate accident) became very unique IMHO. I know his drumming is very basic and easy to replicate, but his fills are quite something else. The accents aren't your 'typical' type of fills (due to using the multiple foot pedals on his electric kit) and actually require a little brain adjustment to get your head around. After I edited the video I noticed that the majority of my playing was confined to the right side of the kit! It was never done intentionally but the song subconsciously makes you gravitate to the right. I would have to say that the last minute of the song is my fave part, I just love that ending...it sounds so cool.
One of the greatest enjoyments of recording this song was trying to emulate the drum sound. Took me a while but I think I got pretty damn close.
On another note...I wonder how many 'intelligent comments' I'll get saying that I should've played this song one-handed!
