That was because they didn’t actually collide at 4m/s and -1m/s. And you can’t be sure of their masses either. Their masses could’ve been different. The values in the video must’ve been taken for easy calculation purposes 4:54
Please pay more careful attention to the use of significant figures in your calculations. At one point you multiply a number with 1 SF by a number with 1or 2 SF and get an answer with 3 SF!

Because they have different shoe soles and friction coefficients, muscle movement restrictions and so on. They are not in space.
Even when factoring those forces in, it doesn't account for the experience and invented numbers. Nice thought though. @@doseoffaiyaz
