But I guess times have changed - it's all about TRPs now, and the performers don't mind (or, even if they do, they will have to keep quiet about it). If someone tried this with Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, or Kishori Amonkar....they would have immediately walked away.

These judges, irrespective of how big a celebrity they are, need to control their excitement when needed. This was pure art that need no howling whatsoever.
