My father has voted over and over for him.
I campaigned hard for him, got elected as a delegate, then watched as the corrupt party bosses changed the rules at the convention not allowing RP to even speak to the delegation. His ideas were too dangerous for the establishment. That was the last time I voted, 12 years ago. Absolute corruption. Even though I no longer play in the devil's sandbox that is American politics I still hold Dr. Paul in the highest regard. He was the most principled presidential candidate I've ever seen. Thank you Tucker for giving him his due.

The fact that Ron Paul couldn't get elected president was a sign of the decline.

He ran in '88 and I voted for him then and I agree. Pat Buchanan was a good one too.
RP was my first experience of documented voter fraud. I wish I had downloaded the video, but it was someone who had been involved in the reporting of vote counts from a certain district (in which RP had won) and the official counts from that district that got reported by the media had RP in single digits. He said he called the media agency and they simply said "those are the numbers we have".

Ron Paul being given the media blackout treatment during his Presidential campaign was my red pill. It was so shocking to see the media interfere so blatantly in the democratic process that it snapped me right out my 30 year sleepwalk through life. I know I'm not the only person that Ron Paul woke up, and I am forever grateful to him for it.

Especially later with the Occupy Wallstreet stuff and the "we are the 99%" stuff. Ron Paul has been right consistently since the 80's. He was the President we needed, but clearly not the one we deserved. He woke me up politically in 2006 and I will never apologize for voting for him in 08' and 12'.
The people who need to apologize are the 90% of people who say, “But a vote for a 3rd party is a vote for the other guy.”
Then so be it… I will never contribute to electing another establishment politician, Democrat or Republican. I will always vote for who the media tells me not to vote for. I’m not a sheep and I absolutely do not care if the greater of two evils ends up winning because of my vote.

He called me back when I was 16 after leaving a message asking him how I could help. He told me to be honest about his platform to anyone who’d listen. He also grow up to be a good, honest, freedom loving American. That conversation influenced my politics to this day. I love being free to say & do what I want (within the law) with honesty and understanding and I dare anyone to try and illegally stop me.

I knew that housing crisis was coming because big banks were selling mortgages to bigger banks before it all broke when Obama made it easier to get a first time home owners loan for about a year then there were more short sales than ever imagined

When I lived in Detroit and my Uncle lived in California, he called me to tell me to vote for Ron Paul. I knew zero about politics @ the time. My Uncle provided me with our family's extensive history and gave great advice.
