    First, congratulate yourself for a great job. You do not stop surprinsing me. Since I was a child I am a fan of steampunk style and I really enjoy watching your work.
    The second, thank you from the bottom of my heart, it is an honor for me to be able to appear on your channel, it fills me with pride, friend. I have learned a lot with youtube, but what I like most is that there are no limits to friendship. Thank you really, thank you

    Im a union sheet metal worker that has spent over 10 years in school for metal fab and working in the industry for 20. I pride myself with copper smithing and working with minimal tools as a hobby and blade smithing. I do not know your backround but all i can say is you have my respect. You are a remarkable craftsman.

    I moved from Guam to cali to go machining school a few months back. I got a CNC shop ready Sherline set up mill and lathe and was looking for little projects to do and your page just gave me that much more inspiration of what a person can do with small machines and hand tools. Appreciate your work and I will be watching every video you made. Amazing job.

    Absolutely outstanding! Unfortunately not that many people have "shop skills" anymore- and as an actual "shop teacher" I find that sad! Thank you for inspiring others!!!! When our skills die- our society will be dependent upon those who still maintain the machines our ancestors built. I quit smoking 14 years ago- but I might make one of these just because it it so totally cool looking.

      Sharon Benson i suspect he would but to extremely limited advance order. You are basically commissioning a work of art here and therefore it will attract art gallery prices. Each one of these would be unique as all parts are hand fashioned and finished with nothing stamped or pressed. Undoubtedly you could automate production of these but they would be identical in every respect.

    I wonder if this could be applied to a flask....

    • @RavenDarknyte
      @RavenDarknyte 6 лет назад

      probably. you'd wanna use actual glass for the window and use an epoxy that's food-safe to hold it (or even food-grade silicone to help with waterproof- alcohol and plastic containers don't get along; and you could just forgo the window altogether to play it safe- and then just make sure to wash it well and often between steps to make sure you dont get any copper shavings in your booze.

    • @VileStorms
      @VileStorms 6 лет назад +1

      you can if you make sure that everything is sealed good and that the epoxy is food safe and that the solder is lead free.

      you could use a glass flask and make a shell like this around it a friction fit, if it can be done with leather I foresee no problems doing it the copper or brass route. kinda like this cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1064/4168/products/opt-hip-flask-8-back-detail-IMG_2417_grande.jpg?v=1527191127 easily replicated in copper or brass.
