I watch DV all the time and you're 100% correct, dude has an out of this world ego. Some of it is well deserved but man does he "know" that he's the smartest guy in the room.

Eric you are a great Dad. Your son is so driven and that is good. We are only young once and the work outs he is doing will also show when he gets to be my age (59 and1/2) if he continues to be MINDFUL. Yes, be mindful of how you treat yourself and you can age gracefully!

I’m always needing heads ported and if you need block machine work or a short block built I would trade out labor. Your Porting work for our block machine work and or assembly. This would help fix the cash problem on getting you going again. After we finished you up I would take a short trip to come out and bring your short block and pick up my heads so there would not be any return shipping. Needing to go see a cousin out in Missouri anyways. Let me know!

Maybe I should find someone deserving to do the same… I find it funny that guys are calling a hand porter and being surprised that he’s likely 6-10 months out. Have they contacted a legit race engine builder to see how far they are out? My “small time” but world record holding engine builder stays 8-14 months out.

The mass thing I never would of thought of he was more fit but heavy I didn't think he would be slower which if he is heavy like you said heavy is more drag in the swimming which actually makes so how can you balance that if you want to be stronger with more muscle and be stronger but not be heavier to be faster
