The constant reliance on turning these shows into raunch-com flicks is killing them before then even get a shot.

The quality of films has certainly dropped in recent years. It's sad.

I typically don't do remakes or TV/film adaptations. As a purist I deem them sacrilegious, but there are exceptions. Miami Vice is one film which comes to mind.

Completely agree on Miami Vice, I really enjoy that film.

Baywatch was very terrible mainly because it’s more similar to 48 hours or Starsky and Hutch because the focus is on solving a crime instead of lifeguards dealing with issues in their lives while working as a lifeguards of a public California beach.

Yeah they went the wrong direction with that adaptation.

As a standalone movie, I enjoyed fall guy, but I agree it should’ve had a different name as it didn’t have much to do with the show at all

You know I watched it a second time and I would agree it certainly had its spots of appeal and the stunts are a blast. If they wanted a Fall Guy movie I would have went with something between a Nice Guys meets Hollywood stuntman with some clever meta worked in. Grounded it a bit more, but not too much. Thanks for watching Colton!

I watched Dukes of Hazzard constantly as a little tike in the mid 80's fond memories☺

Same here, they would play reruns of it during the summers on the weekday mornings. I'd wake up watch Dukes of Hazzard and Magnum PI while eating breakfast then I'd head out to play with my friends. Great times!

@@MoviesNeverSayDie Siskel and Ebert's review of No Holds Barred is on here as well. Hilarious how they pick it apart and don't try to hide their utter disgust and bewilderment with it hahahaha

I've seen that. I'm actually working on a Magically Ridiculous episode soon covering NHB and I came across their review when I was researching for it. So amusing!

@@MoviesNeverSayDie Oh, fabulous man! You totally should! Yeah, for sure about their review haha! did you notice how Ebert was particularly turned off by the film and the gross out humor and behavior throughout?
