Arcane could have just been a simple adaption of a video game about two cities at war and two sisters who grew apart. But instead they made it the most gut-wrenching, spectacular story I've ever seen. The music, the scenery, everything is perfect down to the last details and this show deserves all the love it got.
Everything except the ending, which could've been incredibly more spectacular, but at least it wasn't bad.

@tezarn If there had been something else between episode 8 and 9 I think the ending might've been more satisfying.
It felt like in season 1 they decided to make a story with a league of legends backdrop. And then decided to make league of legends the front of the show in season 2.

But ultimately abandoned because they knew they had to try and incorporate the rest of the world. Each story they wished to tell should have been left in isolation.

I am so glad they gave us the alternate universe episode. That way at least we can imagine a happy life for Powder/Jinx.
The more I think of the ending and all the overlapping narratives and themes, wow they really cooked.
except she is not happy.... there are hints of her going dark, and the ending hints that she will be creating some sort of hextech, and i am betting my money on time machine, because the Ekko in the alternate timeline was already working on some sort of z-drive prototype, that's why the Ekko that went back had things to base his design on, now they have made a working one, and at the end Powder reviews her stash of hex-crystal, it only make sense if she will create a time machine of her own to go back and save Vi, and repeat the entire Arcane cycle, turning it into a endless loop.
Entirely takes away from the people who became who they were.
Time with the alternate powder helped ekko heal from the wounds with jinx and now he only sees powder. Sad boi at the end but I think certified blessed boi when everything pans out.

@@oscarfrankefort3684I believe it’s breaking the cycle of causing pain to herself, reliving her happier life when she was girl in her head, killing others. Jinx remembers the innocent kind girl she used to be with Vi and Vander, Powder To leave Piltover and start a new life and to find herself. That’s how I understand it when jinx says break the cycle.

The quote I'll never get over: "Silco thinks he made Jinx... but he didn't. You did." This is such a masterpiece, and so is this show. I think Arcane might be a story (a piece of art, really) I'll never be able to forget or move past. An '8th wonder of the world' kind of feeling.
Even dead Silco still delivers the best monologue in series ))
Arcane is an amazing show. It will be remembered as one of the greatest shows ever made. It's sad that there's not going to be more seasons after season 2.

This was hands down, literally THE BEST cinematic edit, holy shit.
God, this season was a rollercoaster of pain and emotion and bittersweet love. I’m glad to have been able watch these characters live their lives, and in the end, stand side by side together. Jinx deserves her happiness… in every universe.

I think Arcane is one of the best TV series ever and Jinx is my favourite character. The series as a whole is masterpiece of animation, storytelling, music & characters. 💙
Powder/Jinx, one of the most tragic and well-written characters in the Arcane series. Wanting to prove herself that she can help her family yet, unknowingly getting Mylo and Claggor killed. Got taken in by Silco, grew up and was living in her fantasy, unable to move on from her trauma that happened ever since Vi abandoned her once.
Had Isha as her new little sister, found out Vander was alive, lost her little sister later on as Jinx got depressed and in the end, sacrificed herself as Powder ending it all with a bang!
If someone as happy-go-lucky and insane character like Jinx is adapted with an astronomical story, I can only imagine what they will come up with for someone like Jhin and how he turned to an art-form of killing with 4s.
I dont know Silco giving her impossible tasks she could somehow manage (hextech crystal and Pow-pow) and Sevika being the best sister of the story. I think both did a lot to help her grow.

She was wrong tho. Breaking the Cycle meant changing your lifestyle, staying would've made her a better person alongside Ekko too.

@@TipoIrritable there’s a lot of baggage and trauma between Ekko and her, and the undercity in general. Her “leaving” altogether to possibly forge a new persona I think was the best decision

Jinx’s character development through the years is just perfect. From this Harley Quinn Wanna be in her release in game to this character full of life and depth, a character so human that all of us can relate to in some ways, it’s just simply amazing.
To think this is the announcement of cinema that Riot is willing to develop is spectacular. Loved the show because the cinematics as a kid thrust me into modern art and entertainment. Thank you for your appreciation of this amazing story.

I feel not enough credits are given to the dialogues in this show. The lines in this edit are just some of them. The whole show has absolutely beautifully well written dialogues, that carry so much weight not just in the context but raw emotional values as well. The one I recall the most is ,”ever since you dropped into my life, it’s like I put on glasses, except I can’t tell whether everything is blurry or clear “

Amazing work on this montage, the layering of themes, parallels, etc is such a perfect summary of jinx's character arc...
Breaking that cycle by walking away means a new beginning. Maybe he is worried, but one day he will find someone who will turn that suffering into happiness. As Ekko said, it's never too late to start over with someone worth it. Jinx lives and goes somewhere we don't know where, and we won't find out anytime soon
This is a masterpiece. The second half in particular is a work of art. Thank you.

Daaaaaamn. As always, your videos are deeply poignant and enthralling. With Jinx being so much more in Arcane than just the video-game crazy explosion girl, this emphasizes the nuance and internal conflict and depth of emotion that the character embodies.
However...
Am I the only one who interpreted the end of the series, with Caitlyn looking at the blueprints of the Hexgate tower, how the central shaft connected to the airship docks, and then the airship flying away into the wild blue, as a possibility that Jinx somehow slipped out of drone!Warwick's grasp and managed to escape, to find freedom at last? To find a way to fulfil that vow she made as a child way back in season 1 episode 1, that someday she was "gonna fly in one of those things" (an airship)?

Yeah she's alive, but that's part of breaking the cycle. She can walk away from the family "identity" while Vi can't, that's the power of Jinx not being 1:1 Powder. Vi realizes I believe too in that final fight with Vanderwick when Jinx saves her. They'll be apart for now but chance may bring them back together eventually.

I was trying to find something to watch on Netflix few years ago, I'm not a great fan of animations, but I gave it a try...Arcane is amazing, I never thought that an animation can conquer my heart...Arcane is a masterpiece,best of the best.
