From the Upstate of South Carolina - home of The Marshall Tucker Band - WELL DONE BOYS !
This song and the Marshal Tucker band was one of my favorite back in the 70’s. loved the rendition thank you ,,
You guys are great!. Back in the day when we had to fight our way through life. Generation y and z will never understand.
Love these guys, love Jay Sekulow, Love the President!! Four More Years!!
Love Jay's music. Hate his politics, all to hell.
@@teddycollier4909 Not me. He stood in the way of a major political party circumventing the will of the people and disenfranchising tens of millions of voters. The man deserves a medal.
Mr Skaggs - no slouching for sure!! One of the things I live about this band is you are all Christians and still love to belt the old rock !! Sounds better than originals!! I recently discovered you guys but now I am looking for any and everything of yours!! Please don’t stop doing this!! It transports me away to a much simpler time in my life. Truth be known we all need to go back to those times.... God Bless!!
Beth Cooper - very well said. God Bless.
Love them ..I also looking for more of their stuff
Ricky Scaggs? is he the one on the ukelele?
Kevin R. Pierce that is Ricky Skaggs on the mandolin, yes!! He is the amazing! I truly wish I could see them perform somewhere!!!
Tarkus128 Manticore thank you !! I truly would love to see them perform somewhere!!
Very good rendition. Nice to to see Mr. Scaggs playing the mandolin too
Old dudes putting all on the line ,experience and wisdom can't be denied !
Now come on, they aren't that old!
If you have to be old to be this good, We'll take it!
This hauntingly awesome, the best cover of this Marshal Tucker classic that I’ve ever heard!!
Puro talento del bueno, la fidelidad de los instrumentos es una maravilla
Ésto si es música !✌️👍
It moves me to see good people coming together. Ricky Scaggs had been an idol
Of mine since basically birth, and now Jay Sekulow has become one. Thank you for what you do gentlemen. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Outstanding. Anything they do is unbelievably good
some are better than the originals is my opinion
Jay knows the classics too. Making southern rock great again! Keep on rocking the house down and thank you for protecting our president. Well done.
This is one of the most if not thee most underrated cover bands of all time. I try to never miss their concerts on RUclips, Facebook etc.
Absolutely joyful band and voices! Thank you Jay and eachone of you great job 👍🎸👏
John Schlitt really shines here. This is an excellent rendition of a classic song!
Should hear him with Petra
@@scottwhite1963 ,Petra were a terrific band. I have every Petra studio album except for their first album. You have good taste. 👍
John's voice is incredible
Wow, this band is awesome. One John singing in a tone that is not his normal and sounds great and the other John playing drums. Every time I watch a video it seems that someone is playing a different instrument. All of these guys are so very talented.
Don't stop guys... seeing Mr. Skaggs just impresses me more... I'm a true follower of this channel and this group
LOVE, LOVE this. Schlitt is timeless and fun to see Elefante on the skins.
Please Jay take a break from it all and come do a tour. We'll buy tickets.
I've felt that way a few times before. Outstanding mandolin solo❤️
✌️😎
Oh my goodness!!! Is that Ricky Skaggs playing??? Why didn't I come across your band earlier?
Simply amazing in every way. May God continue to richly bless you and yours
Love these guys! Awesome sound....❤️❤️💥💥💥💥❤️❤️❤️
You guys are really terrific. I like all your tunes…… so well done.
Thanks.
Wow! Sekulow rocks! Plays drums, guitar, lord what else. Jams with Ricky freakin' Skaggs, John Schlitt, and Elefonte. You guys are great! Rock on!
Great rendition.. I quite enjoyed listening...
What a joy to see other people sing and keep a great song........great......
Love, love, love!
Of all the things I love about this cover, it's the mandolin that does it for me.
Awesome cover Jay Sekulow Band!! I love you guys!!
Schmidt is amazing! This band can do anything.
You get better with age like fine wine!!!😍
Good Gracious! Ricky can rock that beautiful Gibson mandolin.
ricky scags? tallent on the first level ...not taking away from all you guys but this is the best of the best . you guys are the killer of tunes ...where are you playing next? ive got to come and see you

Awesome Job Jay and band!
These guys are SOOO GOOD !!!
loved it. thanks guys, such a treat to be able to see this kind of stuff.
One of my favorite songs ever.
The band is great and the singer is awesome.
This is the best rock band in America, in my humble opinion.
No doubt, SON.
Awesome job! Love it guys! So great to see Ricky tearing it up, still!
Please do a tour!!!!! Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!
Got damn. Y'all are amazing.
Thank you for the beautiful shots of Ricky Skaggs… ❤️
I always enjoy listening to the Sekulow Band. The lead singer sounds like Rod Stewart.
That is John Schlitt of Petra, and before that, lead singer of Head East
Man that's a talented band!!! Good song good arrangements.
Great sound!
Hey Jay, if you having fun tell your face! Do you ever smile? This is so much fun to listen to, gotta be a hoot to play this good music with a host of great musicians. Come on man!!
LOl, tell your face. Rolf, I love Jay Sekulow.
Chris Cron -- 1:10 - Jay SMILES!!! ;-) Darn good stuff - Trump should get 'em to play at the rallies, maybe? (So here I am, defending the lawyer -- LOL!)
Dude, give him a break. It's not like he doesn't have the weight of defending the POTUS against a fraudulent impeachment and lies of a false Russian collusion, while he's playing killer music. OH, and running his non-profit which fights for Constitutional freedoms here in America (ACLJ.org). This superhero just has a more serious countenance and this is perfectly cool. He's a badass just the way he is. LOVE YOU JAY!
Chris Cron that's Jay smiling!
He smiles when he does the important work of defending the nation and the President!
I’m surprised to see John Elefante on drums. The other day I saw him working with a guitarist. I guess when your whole life is music and on the level he’s been on for the last almost 40 years, it’s all second nature.
He plays drums, keyboards, guitar, other percussion, is a songwriter, producer, and composer!!!
Seen the MTB in Chicago back in 78...great concert...Go Jay Jay
Psssst, which one is Jay? I just found them on RUclips about an hour ago and I'm blown away.
black glasses with black shirt at the :10 second mark.....
Charlie Brown Hi CB...

Wow! Love this ! Very beautiful 😘
My first " real ' concert...St. Louis 1979-80 ish.

Head East
Brownsville Station
Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

Great cover of a classic. Ricky Skaggs on mandolin was off the chain!
That wasn't half bad, and with Rick started playing that mandoline it gave me goose bumps, lol but really these old boys are pretty good, :)
Excellent cover!,👏👏👏👏
Ricky Skaggs!! Great cover!!!!
Wow, I'm impressed. Who knew Jay S. Ricky S. good job...
i think this is one of their best covers
Excellent band!!!
Love it!
Well I'll be ...is that Ricky Scaggs? Wearin nothin but a mandolin? Lol Wow that's cool ......really enjoyed your videos liked and subscribed 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
outstanding!
The best! Awesome!❤️❤️
OMGeee it’s him it’s him!!!! 😁😁😁
These guys are great musicians and John is a great vocalist. When I grow up I wanna be like Jay, lol. The man can do everything besides defend the oppressed and fight for justice. I wanna sit next to Harry on the ACL&J Broadcast and be that right wing extremist you been warned about. ;)
Great song , great over. Still can’t find a cover of this song where they use a flute in the beginning.
Thats got to be fun! Would love to st in with this crew
Ricky Skaggs' face looks like it belongs on Mt. Rushmore.
😅😂😅 right
OMGOSH!! I didn't even recognize Ricky Skaggs!!!!
It should be he's a Patriot 🇺🇸
Skaggs! I love it.
Love that song you all did great job with it. Maybe improved it!!
Love ya come to Orlando please
a lot of these guys covers are better than the original.
love love love
REALLY NICE !
You pick the best songs and then knock em out great job.wwg1wga
Wow guys John Schlitt shine with John Elefante,Jay Sekulow ,Ricky Skaggs and Mark Kelly, reminds all of us has been through.
gostaria muito de vê esta banda um dia tocando com o oficina G3(Mauro Henrique, PG ou Juninho Afram)
I'm thinkin' it'd be a blast to see this lineup live. Maybe in a decent sized arena say 8-10 K, SRO, crowd goin' wild!.
They'd fill the place and blow out the front panel in the process. The band is tight, and the covers are very good, but the original material really puts their versatility on display.
A most excellent choice!
Marco rockin’ it on harmonica!
That guitar player was amazing
Wait..I could have swore I just saw Ricky Skaggs.. Ok, starting the video over, and gonna watch it this time, instead of wrapping Christmas presents and glancing up every now and then.
John Schlitt never disappoints, and Ricky Skagg's contribution made this extra special. Who is playing keyboards? -- well done! (Harmonica needs a bit of work, but overall an admirable cover of this MTB fav). ♥
I want to cry.
Awesome
One guitar player reminds me of Donnie Wahlberg
He reminds me of Ned Beatty from Deliverance.
I thought so too.
You know it is going to be good if Ricky is playing in the song.
🎼🎶🎵🎼🎶🎵👏👏👏👏ROCK ON💯👋
Check it out ! Ricky Skaggs playing mandolin ..... Good Old Kentucky Boy ... and I am too ! Love it
I want to buy a mandolin now!
Love it
Skaggs looks in awe of the quality these guys put out
I think I saw that look he gave to the band also !
Duane Edwards
You may be right but back in the day Ricky Skaggs's band, Kentucky Thunder, was known as the greatest band in country music. Ricky was 7 when he started with Flatt and Scruggs and then at age 15 him and the late Keith Whitley joined Ralph Stanley's band. He's been around the best of the best most of his career. Seeing him with Jay is pretty cool!
HSLDA, yes? I never realized until watching Mike Huckabee the other day. . .
Interesting song choice for the band.
