NORWEGIAN WOOD is a Beatles hit written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney for their 1965 album “Rubber Soul”. It is a early example to the Beatles’ progression as complex songwriters in the style of raga rock and psychedelic rock in the 60’s.
Buddy Rich “The World’s Greatest Drummer” recorded this version on his 1967 album “Big Swing Face” and performed it on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. We really enjoy this Bill Holman arrangement of Norwegian Wood which captures the wild spirit of the 60’s.
