100% they also spam forceful shot and quick fire, or they just don't miss and have much better damage rolls and penetrating on top of shotgun and bait you into coming close then insta kill you regardless of my PDR and health stats
@@Lord_Hendrick Sometimes it's not so easy, mind you, he does such a fucked up dmg with his bow and even if he misses with 15 arrows, he still inflicts so much I don't know, let alone when he pulls out a spear. What you need most is perseverance in fighting the ranger and not giving him too many chances ie as you say, use the door etc.
@@NamelessReaper Yeah, they especially suck in large open rooms. I prefer fighting against their spears as I find them easier to parry vs the endless arrows that fly my way but they can still sting with high enough strength combined with the spear perk, core mechanic to beating them is to always keep moving when engaged.

@@Lord_Hendrick he's a ranger main 100%, runs a build that ignores the existence of fighter (it's direct counter if built to counter ranger) gets killed by a fighter with a shield and breakthrough/sprint with anti ranger perks and then proceeds to complain about fighter being better ranger because the fighter that built to counter him shot a single arrow that did maybe a tenth of his health before hitting him multiple times with melee finally killing him after he ran and spammed his survival bow for five straight minutes

Yeah, though once they're in melee distance you can normally deal with them, just gotta kite the hits and use doorways to your advantage.
