Prices have gone up some here in Europe as well due to energy cost being priced in but not nearly as much as over in the US. 6 bucks for a bottle of salad dressing???

@@jax993 I have a friend who just had a hip replacement and says that it's much easier than knee replacement. He says he feels Brand New. My knee replacement was absolute terror and I never wanna go through it again. However, I would consider a hip replacement if I had that issue. Yours sounds really bad. Might be worth thinking about.

Wait those reusable produce bag things are such a great idea I can’t believe I hadn’t thought of that. I’ve already switched to reusable shopping bags as much as possible (and plastic free if I can) but I don’t know why I didn’t think of those. Sometimes I can have like 5+ things from the produce section. Would make so much sense to have my own bags instead of the tiny plastic ones I can’t even use as bathroom garbage bags lol
Yes, yes! I have discovered that they are great to throw right into the refrigerator with the item still in it! The mesh bags keep the fruit and veggies contained and yet still breathing and staying more fresh. Very glad I bought them.

Oh my, seeing food prices from across the world always surprises me, haha. Like 5 USD for just over 200g of pistachios. That's 4 GBP and here a pack of 200g costs less then 2 GBP - tho I assume the wages are also higher in the US to make up for that? Hey AJ! I chose a very expensive store to shop in for this video. It's the nicest store in town. But yeah, the wage in California does try to match the rising prices. Nothing will actually help any of us afford groceries. It's gotten out of control, basically. I am fortunate that we can make ends meet. Have to post about this. I recently read about parasocial relationships which is social media where we viewers feel like we know you but you don't know anything about us. I have some articles to read about the benefits. I think many of us commenting feel like you're a friend as we have seen you cook, shop, etc. I just want to say thanks. I like to do many of same things you do, cooking, thrifting, gift shops, etc. Thanks for listening. I bet a lot of us viewers identify with your routines and therefore we're hooked on your ASMR.

I can tell you that it has benefited me quite a bit in my heart and my spirit to feel known. No doubt you and I have many things in common. By hook, I mean, some thing about us that nobody else does or has. Individuality or uniqueness. I have to let you in on a secret though. I do not love cooking or baking. I love making videos about it. I'm not a great cook. But everything that I make turns out great tasting. The thing I love the very most, and the reason why I love to go shopping, is decorating. Makes me lose all track of time. Every time I make a video I get to decorate. In essence, creating a mood and an atmosphere. Lord have mercy, those prices are high wherebyou live. The only thing cheap isbthe head of lettuce, which is dirt cheap at 89 cents. I was happy to get it for 1.99 the other day. You made good choices but I was freaking out over the prices over there.... but it all looks great...I love shopping at Trader Joe"s in New orleans the prices are cheap there,,,,great foods. I was shocked on how much that catlina dressing cost lol...that is what i always buy... anyways that wacky mac is great for salads of pasta.....i usually use boiled shrimp in mines and red onions and other things and let sit in fridge for several hours....take care and love the color of your nails!!!! BTW...where I live shrimp right off the boat to the pot and so cheap down here in Louisiana...lots of hugs to you!!!!

Hello Karen! 🙋🏻♀️ The prices of groceries and Susanville is way higher than Tennessee. But then again, prices vary from city to city within a state so, there's no telling as a general rule. I really love this other grocery store I found that has discount prices on everything, Grocery Outlet. I will probably end up shopping at four different stores just to get the best deals. I will try to do a driving video around Susanville as soon as I can. Hopefully, if/when the trees start turning color in town a bit more. That'll be prettier.

You made good choices but I was freaking out over the prices over there.... but it all looks great...I love shopping at Trader Joe"s in New orleans the prices are cheap there,,,,great foods. I was shocked on how much that catlina dressing cost lol...that is what i always buy... anyways that wacky mac is great for salads of pasta.....i usually use boiled shrimp in mines and red onions and other things and let sit in fridge for several hours....take care and love the color of your nails!!!! BTW...where I live shrimp right off the boat to the pot and so cheap down here in Louisiana...lots of hugs to you!!!!

You are calming. I see Joe's Campground in Colorado! Are grocery prices higher in Susanville than Tennessee? I was comparing to Colorado and some are similar. I would love to see you driving around Susanville as I haven't seen. I adore California. You're blessed to be there.

The prices of groceries and Susanville is way higher than Tennessee. But then again, prices vary from city to city within a state so, there's no telling as a general rule. I really love this other grocery store I found that has discount prices on everything, Grocery Outlet. I will probably end up shopping at four different stores just to get the best deals. I will try to do a driving video around Susanville as soon as I can. Hopefully, if/when the trees start turning color in town a bit more. That'll be prettier.
