Great figures. Great memories getting these guys for the 1st time. Loved the Road Warriors but I was a big fan of Demolition from the beginning. I don't remember how I knew, but I somehow knew that Ax was the Masked Superstar and thought that was really cool. The dude's a legend even if he isn't on the level of the likes of Flair, Dusty, and Race. Demolition had one of my favorite entrance themes too. Just wish I had the 3-pack. I have these figures and the 2-pack but I must have been slowing down by the time the 3-pack came out.
The one I've been waiting for. All-time favorite tag team. Smash was always a top guy in my Hasbro fed. Favorite memory was by far 1989 survivor series teaming with Hogan and Jake the snake to form the ACTUAL greatest team of all-time the Hulkamaniacs taking on the Millions Dollar team of DiBiase, Zeus, and Powers of Pain.
These are really cool Jakks figures. The only representation I have of Demolition in my collection (which is better than none) is the Hasbro figures. I had a few Hasbro figures when I was a kid and Smash survived to this day. Ax I had to get off ebay and I think I paid like $15 or something like that for a loose one. Probably one of my favorite tag teams ever tbh. I always liked them, and I liked Mr. Fuji in the Demolition face paint as well :)
@@GameTime-yj6qv I was kinda late to the game when I started watching wrestling in the Summer of 91 so I NEVER saw Ax or Smash as singles in stores. It took about a year and a half, pretty late into 1992 when I just by chance stopped in Kay Bee and they had the Demo's 2 pack of Smash and Crush on the peg wall. My favorite tag team of the Hasbro line easily! Never had the Hasbro Ax as a kid which bummed me out. Him Andre and Rude and Akeem were the guys I needed from Series 1 just to have them on my roster but they were discontinued by the time I took interest.
My all-time favorite tag team, I absolutely hated when they added Crush. Mostly hated it because they just started losing when that happened then they were no more by 1991. Sad times
I think the best survivor series team was the 88 one when the Rockers Hart Foundation British Bulldogs were all on one team with Powers of Pain and I think Strike Force vs Demolition Brain busters Conquistador s And maybe the Rougeus bros, Great Dream tag team match!Well other than Mr Fuji turning on his own team,Who were Champions! That wasn't too swift lol But I loved Fuji when he Wrestled,He was a great diabolical villian
These are awesome. We need need a new Demolition set to be released with modern articulation. My favorite tag team ever. Their pop at Wrestlemania 6 when they won the tag titles for the third time was insane. I also liked Crush joining the group. He usually gets a bad rap for that.
Absolutely right Kyle-that was the best Survivor Series of all time!!! Those two teams in particular were amazing!!!!

Finding out smash was repo man when I got older really sucked lol

@@guardian08527 oh yes, they later re-released Smash alongside Crush in a 2pack. Very cool

Demolition was my favorite tag team, LOD looked cool but reminded me of the Steiners with face paint.
But LOD was before the Steiners
Wow thanks you.
I just about to buy these two figures on rock and roll collection
These two figures was great demolition was awesome tag team love the video thanks
I was wondering if you were unboxing these? I thought you had a set loose already LOL! Yes Ax and Hawk were the leaders, I thought anyway.

I don’t think that will happen for quite some time… Ax and Smash joined in on a lawsuit against WWE years ago
That’s over however they will sign a legends deal but they want about 3x more then WWE is offering
@@KylePeterson1980 oh man. Really want new Demolition figures to be made.
Great video I loved Demolition.
Yeah, I always thought Ax was the leader of Demolition
