I’ve played this twice with my wife: once aggressively and once without. I’ve come to a similar conclusion, although I do think my final opinion is still a bit higher than yours for it. I think it’s a perfectly okay, maybe even good, game that is trying to compete with my collection of much better games. I do find the hidden movement interesting and would always notate all of the places my wife could have gone, which actually ultimately solved me one of our games. But the general lack of rules that you can extrapolate from really killed a lot of my interest. I love that moment in a Search For game where I can suddenly solve the whole board because everything clicks. This game just never gives that, and no amount of hidden movement calculations or aggressive play can make up for that.
