I admire your teaching so much , the SIIT recommended your teaching which qualifies you as the best . Keep doing the good works as it's beneficial to humanity
03:22 The Three Pillars of Computer Graphics (Modeling, Rendering, and Animation) 05:34 Other Topics in Computer Graphics (UI, VR, AR, Visualization, Image Processing, Computational Photography, 3D Scanning, Fabrication) 09:35 Applications of Computer Graphics (Video Games, Visual Effects, Feature Animation, Cartoons, CAD/CAM, Simulation, Medical Imaging, Visualization) 13:26 Course Overview (Focused on the CS part of it: algorithms and data structures) 15:20 Textbook (Fundamentals of CG by Steve Marschner & Peter Shirley) 18:01 Projects (7 Projects in JS & WebGL + grading rules) 21:03 Closing Thoughts
WOW Thank you so much for this. I'm so interested learning this but have no access to any uni since I'm not a CS student. I'm archi graduate that turn my career in some of this field. Back then, I was planning to attend any CS course that explain this topic at uni. But with no luck, it's hard to find uni that accept me as arch student as the requirement. Keep going! ❤️
I like the visual part, but sound could be better - loudness is jumping from high to low and too much high frequencies (sss tsss sh fff sounds) you can use an equalizer to turn them down, and also some simple loudness normalization.
Thank you so much Cem for posting your two courses, there are soo few complete courses on computer graphics on youtube. I am learning how to program because I have in mind an app I want to build that is vector based for writing and diagraming. What resources do you recommend I study to be able to create a vector based drawing app? Thank you!
I'd recommend that you try to watch all videos carefully and do the projects. That should give you a solid background for any graphics-related app you'd like to build.
3:50 here i already doubt this, as you straight up start talking about 3d graphics instead of 2d and apparently the course is not about 3d specifically
The course is an introduction to computer graphics. No university can teach everything about computer graphics. It is much an art where one learns on their own .
@@kumardigvijaymishra5945 i know about art, i know about computer graphics, i know about learning, i know about teaching, i know a bit about universities, ... but i dont know what you know.
@@lxvideostuff7200 That's incredible. You know what you should know. What I know is that my knowledge is a subset of knowledge space, and it may or may not intersect with your knowledge space. But 'if' you know everything about computer 📉ics, you wouldn't need to read that 1000-page book by Steve. 😀

That is the best computer graphics introduction I have ever seen!
Best CG course I have found so far! Thank you, Cem!
Thanks Cem! Lesson 1 finished.

Black Shirt? Must be his evil twin Yem Cuskel giving the lecture.
This is incredible! Do you ever plan on doing something similar for the shader programming and raytracing courses?
Yes, it's coming soon.
Love ur lectures!
Great start!

How can I enroll to this course? Is it still avialble? thanks
Mee too want to know about theses projects with jsScript
