The statement you made isn’t true!! The bible in Revelation chapter 1verse 14 tells us what color Christ is but the JW bible has changed the words!! 1611 KHV shows the right words plus Christ was seen on Earth before he died and after he was raised by 5,000 people in his day!!

It looks like their "Jesus" got the "new light" from headquarters, and took the liberty to go ahead and grow out some hair and beard...that might explain the confused look on his face 😅.
When I received an invite to the memorial from my friend that is a JW I thought that the portrait of Jesus was very strange. Usually he’s a handsome man inviting you to come, becoming you. To follow him. It it depicts him in some biblical scene , such as entering Jerusalem on a colt, or healing the sick. This picture gives you nothing. It’s neither inviting, nor teaching you something about him, his life or his sacrifice. It tells you nothing. Now knowing that they hate Jesus really, And knowing they do things to him subliminally, such as in the Revelation Climax Book, and the Live Forever Book, there will be something about this picture, it is possibly a real person, someone evil in society. I don’t know . But this isn’t a nice picture. He didn’t look a warm person who should draw you to follow him. And I think that’s what they are trying to do with this pictorial.
When I first seen the invitation of the portrait of Jesus right away I thought something was off, I never had that thought with any other memorial invitation accept this year

One thing good about leaving the witnesses as that we can disagree and it's ok. I don't have trust issues in that since with watchtower, its more they have lost their credibility and have proven themselves of putting subliminal messages in their content. Sooo this says more about myself than I’d like. But when I seen the pic I immediately thought I’d be attracted to him in real life. Normally WT used serious, focused expressions for Jesus. This one definitely has something out of whack. My track record says, if I’m attracted, something is terribly wrong with the guy. So, yes this portrayal is unusual. Exactly what is wrong with him, idk, but if he were real, I’d be interested. In my mind that’s proof enough that WT is showing an underlying ulterior motive in the portrayal of Jesus.

I often think that if I saw Jesus when He was on earth, I would most likely find Him strange as any strange person. We make too many assumptions about ourselves, I think.

I think that you nailed it. My first thought when I read the video title waz, "Because their "Jesus-model" got old or died"? I do portraits, and I draw what I see. So, for me to draw a picture of "Jesus", I would need a male model that looks the way they want "Jesus" to look.
No, If you watched the whole video, theres a reason I showed older watchtower depictions of Jesus to show its not always the same model but they all still resemble Jesus, accept this one is clearly much different.

But those in the know, will know and understand that this is a disguised picture of a convicted rapist and a member of another high control religious cult. I’ve shown the side by side images to friends at work who aren’t in the know of who the side side pictures are, and they all said they thought it was a likeness of the same person. The picture you say may be used again the next memorial also makes it more likely that we are correct in our assumptions. What ever is going on here, is demonic because we know that the Watchtower is not a Christian religion, and their Memorial is actually a Black Mass. Good observation, I think this look we are referring to can come across in many different ways, In my case it was how I recall the look on my dads face when he was being deceitful , but the one thing that all of our experiences with this look have in common is that its a deceptive look. So why would watchtower put this look on Jesus face ? Very deliberate

I mean isn't it pretty important to depict Jesus in the WT illustrations in a way that is consistent if he really is the only way to the Father?? I did look at random pictures of Judas online and many of them have a similar look. When I typed in (Judas) on the jworg site, no pictures came up, I would have to manually go through the publications to find JW pictures of Judas, or do you know which publications I can find Judas in? and what page numbers ?

I think that you nailed it. My first thought when I read the video title waz, "Because their "Jesus-model" got old or died"? I do portraits, and I draw what I see. So, for me to draw a picture of "Jesus", I would need a male model that looks the way they want "Jesus" to look.
No, If you watched the whole video, theres a reason I showed older watchtower depictions of Jesus to show its not always the same model but they all still resemble Jesus, accept this one is clearly much different.

But those in the know, will know and understand that this is a disguised picture of a convicted rapist and a member of another high control religious cult.
I’ve shown the side by side images to friends at work who aren’t in the know of who the side side pictures are, and they all said they thought it was a likeness of the same person.
The picture you say may be used again the next memorial also makes it more likely that we are correct in our assumptions.

I always wondered why they constantly changed the way Jesus looked. I mean isn't it pretty important to depict Jesus in the WT illustrations in a way that is consistent if he really is the only way to the Father?? Well, I just realized, it's most likely intentional, just another way to subconsciously take away any divinity from Jesus important role.
